One of the things that really makes me believe TFerg will be special is his movement. He is an incredible athlete when it comes to testing.. but, as we know, sometimes guys can still be a little stiff and robotic.

So we are talking about the last play of the second to last drive of the season. If so, that failure was hardly the fault of the receiver. There was nobody open. The Rams ran that play earlier and scored on a pass to Kyren. The D recognized the play from earlier and stuffed it. Id say that was more on McVay and great play by the D.
This is key to why he gets so open. It's like, he's so smooth, that the D has no idea what's coming--he doesn't juke, shake, feint, anything. He just "ambles" out in space, and it looks like he's not even part of the play, and boom it's too late he's wide open. And he got there way faster than you thought.
I made a few posts about this after he was drafted, and I watched his highlights... he's one of the smoothest pass catchers I've ever seen. To the degree that he's like a "stealth TE".
Very excited to see him more involved. 12 sets with him, Parkinson, Adams & Puka are gonna be very very hard to defend.

If losing the weight allows him a little more agility than he could be really phenomenal! Last year the way he moved - stiff hips - it looked like there were just going to be certain routes that couldn't be part of his route tree, sounds like they've been working on that.

Don't Wide Receivers get paid significantly more than Tight Ends? We could see him request that one day down the road. Good problem to have and I hope he's successful.
That was part of my arguing for drafting Sadiq. When extension time comes the number for a TE will be much less than for WRs. But if he and Klare hit, the Rams will be saving money in 3-4 years.

And Daniels looks damn good for a 6th round receiver.
Daniels was my favorite pick in this last draft, for where he was picked.
Daniels could pretty quickly surpass other guys on the WR depth chart.

Has Ferguson shown McVay and Snead enough to attempt to trade Parkinson for some cap dollars relief for a Donald deal? Klare was quite featured these 3 games and did he do enough in these games to allow this? If they need, or want to carry 5 TEs then Redman looks the part as a 5th. Donald ain't playing for free by the way. Still all depends how Ferguson is viewed imo. Any other good ideas how to create cap room? A Dotson extension is feasible, lowering this years number. I have run out of ideas.
His TE coach was Cooley who played for McVay in Washington. There was intel for sure
