Oh, and one other thing. Ramsey came up and delivered a big hit to cause a fumble. It was refreshing to see after watching our old #22 shy away from contact.

Ramsey spent his first two years at FSU as a FS and then took LMJ's role as a S/LB hybrid (a lot of people saw him as an elite FS prospect prior to his final year, where he moved to CB and shut everybody down). Kid can hit. In Jax, there were times where he was protecting himself, like Peters does. Hopefully, he continues to play balls to the walls here.

Johnson was getting a second opinion on if he needed surgery or not last I read. I haven't seen how that went only recent reports say he'll miss significant time.

Great game. Nice to have Ramsey. Good to see more blitzes. A Great Sunday except for the 49rs winning. There's some hope again this season. I love it.

If you look at the breakdowns, I saw more scheme issues (still) than execution issues.

One of the keys DL are taking is that if a Rams interior OL pulls, GET UP FIELD NOW!!! The ball carrier is likely just right there...and that wasn't fixed today.

However, McVay is using the TE more and got Gurley going in the pass game which are both very important.

Edwards played a whale of a game his first game.

McVay still has some scheme things to work out, but today was so much better execution wise that the remaining scheme deficiencies weren't a problem.
I think Edwards was solid. Not great but certainly a welcome improvement.

Was at the game today. First time I have ever been to a game the Rams won. What a game. A few things that stood out watching it from the stands.

First off, Fowler was a Monster. Really disruptive, almost had 4 sacks, had a huge tackle for a loss, and really took advantage, and made the Falcons pay for doubling Donald.

Obo, while I don't know if he got any stats, he flashed when he was on the field. Couple times, he got in the backfield quick, and had some nice PR Moves.

Hill played a really good game.

Ramsey for sure changes our defense exactly how I hoped he would. We played WAY MORE Man coverage today.

D held the falcons to 3 points until the backups came in the last 5-6 Min. That is pretty impressive. The Atlanta Offense has been rolling all year.

Aaron Donald is a beast. We all know that, but he just jumps out at you live. I watched the Chris long interview and was very impressed, especially where he was talking about when Seattle hit him out of bounds and he lost his temper. He said he had to be better than that in those situations. Today he was. He just picked Freeman up. Never swung, didn't get kicked out. But again, he is something. He grabs my attention like Lawrence Taylor used to. Guys like that change how you watch the game.

Edwards looked good. He started off really strong. Missed some assignments in the 2nd half, but overall, I was very impressed for a Rookie in his first start. Hope he keeps trending up.

Henderson had some nice runs.

It looked like they were making a big effort to make Everett a big part of the game plan. Goff was really close to hooking up with him a bunch of times, and if they get that down, this offense will be much tougher to defend.

Woods is such a team guy, and exactly what you want in a receiver. He never takes a play off, and is such a great blocker.

Christian looked like he had a pretty good game.

Ramsey seems to already fit in with the players and coaches.

Blythe seemed like he had another tough day. I will have to watch the game on TV, but several times his guy hit our RBs in the backfield.

Hav seemed to have a better game, but I am not sure if that is just because he wasn't facing a speed rusher.

Gurley's catch in the corner of the endzone was beautiful. What a great catch, especially for a Running Back.

Goff broke #45's ankle on his touchdown run. He had some shake today. LOL

Littleton's Int was sweet, just a great, quick reaction. That boy can play.

I have never been to a game with a fake punt. That was really cool.

Jojo was really close to breaking that punt return for a TD at the end of the half. But a really fun, exciting return. However, his first punt return scared the crap out of me. What was he thinking?

The Punt/Fumble/Touchdown was awesome. That returner got lit up by 3 or 4 guys before he finally fumbled. I couldn't tell who recovered it, but it looked like it was Darious Williams.

I kept seeing Rapp all over the field. Box Score says he had 5 Tackles, but it seemed like more.

If this is what the Pass D looks like now, imagine with John Johnson back.

Run blocking on the right side of the O-Line has to get better.

Overall, what a game. Man that stadium was empty by the middle of the 3rd Qtr.

After the game was over, some guy in Rams jersey comes running out of the restroom yelling "Whose House? RAMS HOUSE" swinging his arms around like a complete lunatick. My wife and I were cracking up. It didn't seem to make any of the Falcon's fans laugh.

That was the first time I have been to the stadium. It is nice. I don't think it will hold a candle to Stan's little project in LA, but it is a really nice stadium.
Glad you had a good time.
Saw the Saints game this year. Brought the Rams record in games I’ve been to something like 4-22 or so. Haha

So nice not to see the d continually giving up the easy completion. I only saw it once, on a 3rd and 2. The corners were 5 yards off and started back pedalling as soon as the ball was snapped so the wr just cut it inside for an easy 1st down.

Love the fact Littleton came out to greet Goff on that running TD. Show's this team is still together after the losing streak we were on.

I love Littleton on this team. We have to lock him up long term. Priority over any FA imo.

The aggressive d was great, it’s going to be even better when Ramsey is comfortable, and when JJ and Talib return from IR. They should be among their best at the end of the season when it’ll be most important.

I liked the offense looking more creative, Goff rolling out, and the line did a better job, albeit against a very poor pass rush. I hope they continue to get better, and we keep rolling on offense.

Did you guys see Gurley's locker room interview? Man.... he's seems like he's half a tick from going off on the reporters. Just about every interview this year he just seems that he can't be bothered by them. Seems very short and tense with his responses.
I've been in TG's corner since day one and still am. But IMO the Rams need to step in with him and coach him a bit on his demeanor. It needs to be something along the lines of "you're a key face of the franchise" and get him to understand that the way he interacts with the press is not only important, but those interviews are always going to be there in the future so why not show some patience and understanding with those dickwads.

Yeah I agree and I feel like tonight was a cobbled together gameplan where Wade did a great job of letting his new toy do his thing. But (and I'm not trying to be negative here) there were a bunch of missed plays by Atlanta (to include some of Ramsey being beat) that could have made this game a lot closer. This defense still needs a lot of work, but they look like they have the right pieces especially once they get healthy.

And Fowler just damn. Oh and btw he didn't just have the sacks. He had a huge almost-sack that ended up being an incompletion, he batted down a screen pass in the backfield, etc. That boy balled his @$$ off and I really like him coming off left end because he does do a good job for a smaller rush end in the run game. His one weakness is sometimes he disregards contain and it can be at the worst time. But I'm sure they've been working on that and he looked great.

Okay where are all the Whitney babies at?

I’ll drink to a fucking win!

Honestly really isn't a ton to say... We played decent, but not spectacular.

The defense was great. Our running game was still shitty and the ball hit the ground too much in the passing game.

Just keep winning and the celebrations will get more intense.

We took steps. We won a game we should have won. We executed better.

We may have found our answer at LG!

Ramsey is already looking like a stud!

Wade is bringing the HEAT with the D now that he has lock down players.

Oh, and speaking of studs... Did anyone hear much from the OTHER WRs? Seems Long and Williams did a very good job on their #2 and #3 options.

Oh, and can you see it? Can you see it???

Clay Matthews is gonna FEAST in this D...

A nice road win. Gave Goff some time to throw and it made a big difference. McVay ran the ball even if with moderate success. Henderson looks good while TG ran hard. Very few penalties helped get the offense in rhythm.
More than that, Goff was much more willing to move around in the pocket and by himself some time. He was more nimble afoot and he was on his toes a lot more.

A lot of folks have the opinion Goff is not mobile...but if he'll use his mobility more he can affect how defenses come after him! He's got decent mobility and he needs to show it more.
