I actually feel bad for Cards fans. Most I've met I've liked. Love the state of Arizona, too. The Cardinals and their fans are 1000x more likeable than SF and Seattle, IMO. I hate those cities, too.

In CIV 5 - I nuke the hell out of San Francisco when I am playing another country.

Is that wrong of me?

I’ve been to about 12-13 Cardinal/Ram games over the years. I like their fans to, I’ve never had problems with any of them but have always seen a minimum of 2-4 fights each game all the way up 7.

I find the vast majority of them likable to. Guess it helps wearing a Warner jersey when I go! Lol

Honestly, about the only other team jersey I’d ever wear would probably be a Tillman or Warner Cardinal jersey.

As much as I like and respect both of them it’s still weird! Lol

Haha nothing wrong with you at all, I usually nuke them 2-3 times!

That rumor about Hopkins has been circulating in AZ for a while. I believe it. Just look at who their "leader" is in Murray. These guys will take their cues from him as he pouts on the sidelines. Murray is a cancer in the locker room i.e. and entitled diva with no success to support it. It's why I fully expect the Cards to try to move him next year if not force him into retirement.

I don't think very highly of Gannon at this point but he's got nothing invested in Murray. IMO Murray will make no serious effort to learn a new system....why should he? He gets paid whether he does or not and that will rot inside a locker room. It's why that rot already started with Hopkins. It's why Gannon must bench anyone including Kyler who does not want to learn a new offense. It's why I see Tune as their starter going forward. He's got the talent to play the kind of offense that Gannon wants.

I'm okay with Bennett, but I think Tune is better. Until proven otherwise I think Tune is another miss for the Rams, kinda like Atwell instead of Creed Humphrey.
 Yep. Not news here...

Who knows when or if Kyler will play this season. Colt McCoy is assumed to be the starter until Murray returns. But they know what they have and don't have with McCoy, i.e. he's a career backup.

That said fifth round pick Clayton Tune has impressed in OTAs and mini-camp. If he continues to impress he could end up the starter. His passes have been very accurate especially in the short to intermediate zones. He's going through his progressions quickly and isn't afraid to make tight window throws. His deep throws have been good but no question Murray's arm is better.

IMO the problem arises that this is a new offensive scheme. Kyler isn't practicing, and his notorious reputation for not studying and winging it probably won't fly well with the new coach who has zero investment in Murray, but he does have it with Tune. I think if Clayton starts and plays well, he keeps his starting position all year and perhaps permanently.

If they start McCoy, when Kyler does return what do they do with Tune? Do they try to sneak him on to the PS? There is a strong possibility that he doesn't clear waivers if he hits the wire.

Please put the pipe down.

1. Who really cares about the Cards.Guess you like this rookie QB?

2. Colt is a solid backup QB.Did he beat The Rams?

3. Murray ? Yeah- ok he’s not going to start - LMFAO - what because of the HC ? LOL

4.There is a rule change so the rookie QB will be on the roster all season, unless he gets cut?

Oh, now he's locked in, now that he may miss half the season.
“You can tell he’s really, really locked in, how much he’s itching to get back out there. He’s behind the huddles every play, so really locked in and really excited for his return and just his whole process.”

How long has DJ Humphries been Murray's starting left tackle?
“It’s been fun to see because it’s like you get to see something different from your guy,” left tackle D.J. Humphries said of seeing Murray in the training room. “It’s like, ‘Dang, I ain’t even know that was your makeup cause I’ve never seen you do it,’ and now it’s like, ‘OK, I see who you are. I get a little bit more understanding of who you are and why you are the way you are,’ and it’s been cool for me. I’ve been loving it to be around him a bunch.”

Maybe a new system will do him good and I guess better late than never for the light switch to turn on.

Sounds to me like players trying to convince themselves he's going to be good. In fact sounds a lot like what we've heard from SF camps in recent years. It's bullshit.

Cards are going to need to bite the bullet with KM. They made a mistake. But unlike the Rams they don't have a decisive leader in place who can say "let's pull the plug on this." Now maybe that new GM is that guy. Time will tell. But for the moment they sound like they're stuck in self delusion mode with their starting QB.

If they are lucky Tune will show something early on and they'll have a good option to slowly move away from KM. But with him as a rook they are in for pain either way. Rookie QBs can win you some games but generally it's not gonna be what you want.

He’s ALWAYS been talented. He’s NEVER been locked in. Not sure how you sleep at night getting paid that much $$$ and not having EVERYONE seeing you are 120% locked in.

Gannon is going to run a version of the Eagles offense. That is a good fit for Clayton Tune. He has the speed to force DCs to account for him or pay. His arm is very good out to about 20-25 yds with good velocity and accuracy and that is good enough for this style of offense. I look for him to be the starter this year and going forward.

IMO Gannon will use Tune to see if he can light a fire under Murray. But why should that change anything. Murray has a fully guaranteed contract whether he plays or not. IMO if Tune shows real promise in his play, the Cards will try to trade Murray next year. Murray's fragile ego won't stand for that and he will likely retire.

Gannon knows what he has in McCoy which is a decent backup. Gannon doesn't have the luxury of treading water, he needs to establish himself and as such I think he will start Tune and go from there. If Tune has success and rallies the team around him, Murray will sulk in a corner. He's never been a team leader and it's going to hurt him now.

Yeah I think at some point their QB room will be QB1 Tune QB2 McCoy. But it won't be until the mid to later part of this season. Murray might get benched of course at some point if he stinks it up or acts like a little bitch when he gets corrected by the staff, but he's going to start the season and will need some rope (games) to hang himself. How long it takes idk maybe half a season, but it is highly unlikely Tune knows enough to beat him out year one in camp.

If Murray gets phased out early on due to behavior or whatever then I imagine they start out with McCoy. He's well steeped in the WCO due to time with Frank Reich and should be able to run the offense until Tune's ready. I wouldn't rush Tune. Let him learn the playbook through 'n through and roll him out there once he's lighting up your first team defense every week in practice. Halfway point of the season should be that time window I'd think, assuming Tune takes well to the offense and works hard and all that.

Since the Cards are stupid at the owner position we may see them take longer like a full season to make that call. He may be prone to hand wringing about the change and wanting to give Murray more time.

I was so pissed at how our defense was handled by Morris in that game.

No way we should have given up 5 - 7 yards per play against Colt.

We should have played much tighter in that game. Same thing against Dalton.

Those were the two games where I was screaming we need a new DC.

Well we still have Morris and maybe a much improved offense so maybe Morris defense will work better this year.

However The Rams got here it is what it is.AD99 is going to be fired up.He will be fun to watch at training camp since he missed basically all of OTA’s.No one works harder than AD99.
—Curious how Morris does without Jalen Ramsey? You know Morris’s final result right that first season? Last season I don’t even know if The Rams played the Colts? It was that deep pass against the Saints that killed the season.
—How much has STAFFORD ($$$$) cost The Rams if you count the 1st.rd picks to for Goff & Goff & picks & now $50 million for 2023? The thing about Matthew Stafford going into 2023 is he has NEVER know The Rams offense BETTER,or been HEALTHIER.
This is what The Rams are paying for & their Core has never been more experienced.
—Cam Akers is going into his contract season, and healthy as well.

Colt as in Colt McCoy - not the Colts

No way should we have lost that game

The Cardinals only won 3 games all year and we lost pretty much because Morris played a soft zone shit the entire game.

Although we didn't score many points, we should have given up only 3 points at most to that shitty team.
