I fault Snead for the Austin pick for sure.
Conversely the picks of Donald, Gurley and Goff have proven that he learned from his mistakes...
...as well as the bonanza of youth this year. Boom, Kiser, JFM, JoJo (he's baaaaa-aaack), Kelly, a great crop of potential starters; Boom is a possible replacement for our current probowl LT, that alone is a huge get w/ a 3rd round pick. Jury still out on Obo...

Heck yeah. I was only referring to his 1st rounders

You guys better stop crapping on Tavon. I'm sure he's going to DOUBLE his stats this Sunday. I'm calling it right now; 2 Carries for 2 Yards...Boom!

Good good, I hope Austin lights everybody's ass on fire and tears it up! Always liked the guy and he has a great attitude. It's sad Mr. 7-9 ruined his fan fair by giving him that contract that made him so unpopular.
We have a Tavon sighting in Dallas! Reception TD! TA TA TA!!!

That's just it. Austin is not the toolbox. He is a tool in the toolbox. Its unfortunate for him that he was drafted so high. If he was drafted in the 3rd round as a return man/situational slot receiver/RB vs as a #1 WR he would have been much better off. I must admit his fumbling on punt returns and his tendency to step out of bounds 3 yards early to avoid a hit was frustrating to watch but I believe he has a role in the NFL (for now) with limited touches in a game.

He actually looked pretty decent on that play.

That's just it. He never played up to his value as the 8th overall pick of the draft. But if he was, say, the 72nd pick of the draft, his career wouldn't look so bad because expectations for him would have been as a role player rather than an impact starter.

that play
Yup... that one play. That's the problem... he's never been able to sustain anything of significance. I guess we'll see as the season goes along. But I wouldn't bet much money that he explodes into a highly productive player.

Meh hes not much on the field it appears.
Not sure if this is sarcasm (not blue font). If it isn't, I agree... he's not much on the field.
