Blythe was beat out by a rookie in KC. Is the rookie that good? Or is Blythe that bad?Allen playing well would be huge for this team. Blythe was a liability in pass protection. More of the same will just suck.

Blythe really needs large smart tough OG's beside him.....if not he will not do well enough to start in an NFL OL for long. Blythe's best skill is his brain!Blythe was beat out by a rookie in KC. Is the rookie that good? Or is Blythe that bad?
This is year 3 for Long, so they'd have him next year as well.I think the main issue would be we really need three CB. Long is heading towards free agency and he needs to prove himself as well. It could mean just a short term deal for D Will though so we can draft another cb. I think like RB we should draft a CB almost every year just to keep training and cycling them.
Yeah... it is one of those. . "is this a bad thing" situations, isn't it?Can any of you recall a Rams team that had so many potential surprise/impact candidates for a season? I cannot.
Even just from a single draft class. It's kind of nuts tbh. Guys all over this roster that are of that criteria. Maybe that's a bad thing idk but holy shit am I excited about this year's team.
C'mon Man, Blythe is terrible, especially second level blocks, he cannot make themBlythe was beat out by a rookie in KC. Is the rookie that good? Or is Blythe that bad?
Rams failed to draft any corners in the 2020 draft most likely due to having Ramsey/ Hill/ Williams & Long on board. went & got two starting type safeties though in Fuller & Burgess. This is year 3 for Long, so they'd have him next year as well.
And.. with 11 picks likely next year.. I'd think they could squeeze another CB in there.
Can’t wait to see how the young guys mature over the next year or 2 including above plus EJones, Jefferson, Atwell, Rochelle, BBrown, Anchrum, Fuller, Harris, Akers (thougts and prayers), and the list goes on….Chris Garrett, JR Reed, JJ Koski come to mind.
He's made an impression. The surprise player is DE Jonah Williams--- but will he make the 53 man roster?
Maybe If they keep two QBs.He's made an impression.
But, do you keep him at 26 years old or Eric Banks at 23?
As a fan of ROD for yrs and a Rams fan for my lifetime......I would say for View attachment 47530
there is no question as to which (@ this point anyway) is the surprise player.......It has to be the reemergence of our new starting center Brian Allen. New QB & Center are big changes guys & gals!
My biggest surprises on the positiveside........
ILB Kenny Young remaining the starter
Interior UDFA Rookie OL'er Jordan Meredith
Reconstructed OLB Justin Lawler exceptionally strong TC & preseason performance
DE Jonah Williams
probably a bit of both. Blythe is a good backup but that is all. One good thing about Blythe is he doesn't have many presnap penalties or miffed snaps to the QB. I actually don't recall any bad exchanges from him. But that isn't saying too much for a professional Center.Blythe was beat out by a rookie in KC. Is the rookie that good? Or is Blythe that bad?

Lewis? Is that the guy who is only in his 2nd year that 50-75% of RODs want immediately discarded like trash?
hey, I’m concerned about his injuries too and LT viability. But let’s give the dude a chance.
Would Lewis being healthy count as a surprise player?

So which of our OLBs would you cut to ensure he's got a spot? Giving him a chance means someone else isn't getting one.Lewis? Is that the guy who is only in his 2nd year that 50-75% of RODs want immediately discarded like trash?
