So which of our OLBs would you cut to ensure he's got a spot? Giving him a chance means someone else isn't getting one.

I'd rather have Garrett than him. I'd rather have Oko than him. I'd rather have Hollins than him. All because they can actually be up for the games.

The dude's a perennial tease. It's gonna suck to see a guy who could actually help us in that rotation get cut to make room for him.

On Okoronkwo, it's not like he's been completely healthy and/or effective in his career, and he's in the last year of his contract. I'd take Lewis over him.

Ettu, Memento? ~ Obo

"Et tu, Memento?"

It's supposed to be split up. And Caesar most likely never said that to Brutus, much like Ogbonnia Okoronkwo never will say that to me.

I’m sorry, I guess I missed the games that Lewis hasn’t played in this season. My bad.

if the guy is hurt, he won’t be taking up a roster spot. I’m not sure why you are concerned about that - but I understand some people just like to over think and worry about something.

btw, we have plenty of guy who were hurt and missed games last year and are currently hurt (or will be) missing games. Are we cutting all of them? A Robinson for one. Should we cut Akers? How about Hendo next time he goes down. All I’m saying is let’s get through preseason first before we toss this 2nd year guy away. A little patience goes a long ways.

"Overthink and worry" would apply here if I were concerned about a guy with a history of playing in games. We may not agree on this, but I think my take on the guy is fair.

I think there's a much greater chance of getting production from Oko. But I get where you're comin from. :clinkingbeer:

Agree Fully! Some thoughts to add .......

ILB Troy Reeder played OLB'er most all of his college career, thus he could be an emergency OLB'er if injuries caused a depletion of that outside unit. Reeder has the experience, size, power & has flashed some ability to pressure QB when given an opportunity when going forward. (Some will call that hype).

With the MIA of Robinson again it is going to help both those thinner quicker pass rushing DE's Jonah Williams & Eric Banks continue to get experience thus giving DC Morris the opportunity for an easy flipping to 34 to 43 then 34.....defensive lines again if there is a shortage of available OLB'ers.

Those two young DE's are constantly trending upward, getting better & this is important......have remained healthy on the field throughout OTA's Training Camp & Preseason. So yes we need the pass-rushing talent of OLB'er Lewis but we have two healthy pass-rushers ready to go now!

Morris talked up T. Lewis just a couple days ago. Mcvay in his interview said, hey there talking about you when he was asked about Lewis.
I don’t know what is going to happen, but players always find there way on IR instead of getting cut.
I listened to Garrett’s interview on how he felt & evaluated his time in The NFL so far.He talked about not going up against bodies & how he could not win one on one.
Now he trust he belongs after questioning himself on his ability.
Raheem talked to him after he made the plays. He is still very young, but IMO has proven more raw ability than OBo. Of course OBo is the better player as of now.

Crap I’m a HUGE Bobby Brown Fan!! I was PISSED in camp from watching him work at SOFI. Your eyes don’t lie.
The thing about watching practice though is there is so many thing to watch & observe.
I was on the defensive side I’ll get to a Rams game this season.Sort of Pissed at myself for not taking my Lil lady. Went to Manhattan Beach & not hanging with the sister hood.Passing by the stadium off ramp.I mean I would have been there on time as well.
Watching the raiders game though at home I took to my favorite of the 3 or 4 DT’s J. Williams. His work & speed I saw as well. That guy(DT)that got stunk & an easy call. Hoecht does not look 20lbs heavier either. Hate the FAKE ROSTER sizes.
Banks is tall & competitive,so I’m not upset A”Robinson is getting his knee scoped now. This just keeps giving The Rams time to evaluate & structure there roster.
I’ve been saying the O’line will only keep 8. This is just another example why.

I just don't value a guy who can't make but one out of maybe ten practices. Long term that's a bad bet.

Well - I value his play he made against Da Bears last season.
— Troy Reeder showed his value last season which no one gave him credit for. Talk about being the MLBer of The #1 Defense in The NFL. Now he has earned a starting spot agin over Kiser & E. Jones.
E. Jones is a guy a lot are surprised about. I think he is on the right path & his instincts are off the charts for his age.Future is bright & better than T. Lewis.

Let me say I won't be surprised if Lewis has a big year, I'll be closer to shocked.
Nothing to do with his ability and everything to do with his availability.

I would LOVE to be shocked, let me tell you! I just worry about counting on him for anything.

Obo being hurt right now could make the question of who he beats out null.

I will never have the opportunity that you have had. You were very lucky to have attended TC this season. Even at my age, I would be highly distracted in trying to be centered in, on one cadre or unit from another without getting lost in what I was trying to observe. Of course, I will never return to my birth state for any reason no matter how many times I RV road trip out west.

On the OL keeping 8 what is Anchrum's injury startus?
