...surprise player.......It has to be the reemergence of our new starting center Brian Allen.
I must have missed the emergence part.

But seriously, where he's concerned, I still have to see it to believe it.

Please don't make me miss Austin Blythe!

But I definitely trust the coaches 100% that they think that our best five includes Brian Allen at Center at this point of the season.

Yeah, I think most of us are solidly in the “is Brian Allen that good now or is Bobby Evans that bad?” as to why they’ve settled on this change. Little over two weeks for our questions/prayers to be answered.

I will never have the opportunity that you have had. You were very lucky to have attended TC this season. Even at my age, I would be highly distracted in trying to be centered in, on one cadre or unit from another without getting lost in what I was trying to observe. Of course, I will never return to my birth state for any reason no matter how many times I RV road trip out west.

On the OL keeping 8 what is Anchrum's injury startus?

Yeah Bonifay’d. Your guess is as good as mine. The Rams could keep 9 ? I’d say Brewer is the x-factor. Shelton is gone.

Yeah, no real idea what will happen when you are trying to figure out the MR53 with those players who are injured & will not be available for 2 to 3 weeks.

When you have so much of the Rams past, present & future investments & value tied up in a long-time veteran QB who is a pocket passer you better make the protection the #1 priority.

OT/OG Chandler Brewer has a good chance to pass through the waiver wire to be signed back up as #1 Practice Squad OL. He has had some health issues history. I think Evans is worthless but I believe the Rams think otherwise. The loss of OC/OG Meredith & LT Jackson would be a big blow to the future OL. Rams have invested a lot of time but nothing else on OC/OG Coleman Shelton I really think they have to keep him as backup OC since they will keep worthless Evans.

You know what I would hope for:

LT- Whitworth
LG- Edwards
OC- Allen
RG-Corbett
RT- Havenstein

#6-Noteboom LT/RT/LG
#7-Anchrum RT/RG
#8-Meredith OC/LG
#9-Jackson LT

Is it possible for the Rams to find an IOL player cut from another team worthy of a spot in the Rams 53 man roster?

Travin Howard is going to surprise a lot of people. He was coming on last year before his injury. He’s going to be a force this season.

Is it possible ? Sure, anything's possible. Seems unlikely though, I mean which current player do you cut ? As it is we may find it necessary to cut a talented future player or players just to hold the line at 9 offensive linemen. Guys like Evans, Brewer, Shelton, Meredith & Alaric .Jackson may all be on the bubble as we speak, ... adding another new player to the OL would probably address someone capable of beating out a likely known 53 roster player than a practice squad guy. What are the odds of a waiver pick-up to beat out any of our top 7 (Whitworth, Edwards, Allen, Corbett, Havenstein, Noteboom, Anchrum), and beat all 5 of those other guys currently vying for an 8'th or maybe even a 9'th player for securing a roster spot ?

I’d saying anything is possible, but very unlikely. Les Snead explained the roster & how they final decided on Sony. I think if you look at Bonifay’d OLine Hope list. Jackson & Meredith I believe find themselves on the practice squad.

I am not so sure Rams see the interior as an issue as I do.

Worthless IOL'er Bobby Evans is NOT an NFL IOL'er but Rams just do not see it.

An ascending Ram OL'er Tremayne Ancrum continues to work the exterior posts. As of late Rams even working Chandler Brewer on the exterior which in truth is a better post for him being near 6-7 tall.

Appears to me :weary:OL'er Bobby Evans ( A Jamil Demby light) has the top IOL reserve post locked up.:thumbsdown:I sure hope I am wrong. No way that an over 35-inch arm OL'er can be an overall effective interior OL'er (I have never known many). BE is exterior OL, not an IOL'er period! Seems to be the redux of the 2019/2020 Noteboom IOL experiment (that totally failed) all over again. Noteboom has a wingspan & extra-long arms like BE too.

Last season's backup center (Coleman Shelton) appears to me to be our 2021 season backup. I do not see a change there. CS has been in McVay's offense now for two straight seasons now in his 3rd NFL season. I would think all that McVay face time & experience packs a ton of value with the Org. even though CS is not all that impressive overall .....he is steady, always healthy, knows the system & all the calls well. Big plus here.....CS can also fill in @ both OG posts if an injury were to take place. CS perfectly fits the OZS that is primarily run by McVay.

Neither of those rookie OL'ers will be available to sign to the Rams PS. Both will be elsewhere on a MR53.

I guess that is the risk a team with such depth has to take. There will be other players available. Les Snead always does a good job filling the roster.

Hilarious. Yeah surprise. I think I might have gotten it. Nice Prediction.
Troy Reeder might be your guy.Maybe Brian Allen. Depends on the post you like best ? Either way it’s right up the middle.
- Bobby Jones ? RR(cb), Funk this rookie class is better than I could have imagined. I drink the Kool-aide ,but wow.
Tutu’s toughness & focus.
The list keeps going. Bobby Briwn 20 or 21 at 330 ? What.

If as you say the Rams will do .....let Rookie LT Jackson & OC/OG Meredith get away ...they will be utilizing more team assets & turning around working hard to draft back the very same type of players like then...waste of team resources & time!

I guarantee you they will not be looking for or drafting another Bobby Evans!:hellno:

Bonifay’d we both will find out soon. Meredith won’t get claimed. Hoecht as well imo. Both will be solid practice squad play. If they cut Bobby Evans then I’m okay with that, just calling it as I see it.Won’t be able to see this game until end of the week. Maybe catch a little of the replay.
We’ll check out our 53 then. Some tough decisions. — Injuries can play a part of it as well.
