I fucked my ankle up last July...like 2024 July. I broke the bottom of the leg bone off where it merts the ankle. It healed poorly, was full of fluid and I had a torn ATF Ligament and another one that I don't remember the name. I've had 3 MRIs and countless X-rays over this time.

I say all that to say this...they did two separate surgeries at once...they recommended a nerve block from the knee down for pain....I regret every moment of this. I would rather have the pain than this paralysis of my leg for this 18-24 hrs they tell me. I can't feel shit. I hate it. I'm someone who HAS to flex or hyperextend my fingers and toes all the time. I have since I was a kid....I can't do it and it's making me go insane.

Anyway, rambling....I'm stuck in bed half ass watching this game and wanted to tell ya....if you are ever presented with the option...my advice...pass on it.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, buddy
I can relate to all of this after having many surgeries, 2 on the same foot in the past couple years.
I had the same nerve block knee down and it is freaky as fuck. I think it took more than 2 days
Hang in there dude

Oh don't tell me that Donald! Lol I can't do this shit a whole day on top of this one. This shit blows

I've just been informed what I do with my joints is called stemming and I have a touch of the tism. Haha

You got this bro
I'm starting to get the pins and needles now when I touch my toes...but only slightly. And I can't move them yet. The Dr said when I start feeling the tingle and needles to take my pain meds. Said waking up to that in the middle of the night would suck.

Be glad the nerve block goes away. After my fusion surgery in my neck, I have permanent nerve "block" and pain. 24/7.

I have zero feeling in my right pointer finger and thumb... especially the finger print area of those fingers. I have literally had both of those fingers pressed on the oven burner when it was cranked on high and had no idea my skin was getting burned to hell. The pain is in my hand, the top part of my wrist, and sometimes in my shoulder area. It will never heal either. Nerve damage is the fucking worst.

Hopefully your bones heal properly now. Good luck.

Yeah, nerve pain/numbness/damage sucks fucking hardcore. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that shit, George.

After my injuries, I have foot drop, no dorsiflexion or plantarflexion, zero feeling in both under feet and heels (unless it's nerve pain; one of my heels got a second-degree burn that I didn't feel at a house of mine when a heated pad was left on too long, and there was zero pain from the burn, but when I get UTIs - particularly bad ones with sepsis - oh, fuck the pain is awful), toes only feel permanent tingling at best (the nerves there are shot; I've had ingrown nails since that I never felt), and...well, apologies. It's only because of my own idiocy that I have that shit.

Hope your surgery went well, Juggs.

The good thing for me today is that the pain pills are actually working. The last 2 days....not so much. It's nice to have a little relief
