These are the easiest damn things to make and people absolutely love them. Two things you can do to kick em up a notch even more, use kerrygold butter or just F-it-all and use ghee. Don't forget the poppy seeds!

Oh, hell yeah. Chik-Fil-A is a chain here in the south. She got the recipe from them.

I forgot that Chic-fil-a does the pickle brine. . . I've done that before and they are way good.

Night before last, I grilled a whole chicken. I used my wife's bbq sauce for half and her bourbon sauce for the other. I just stir fried some left-over white rice from the Chinese takeout earlier in the week with broccoli, peas, carrots, and Bella mushrooms. I used soy sauce, a little fish sauce, and some ginger for the fry. I'm going to pair it with the grilled bourbon chicken.
