Honestly there is only two teams here Suh will consider.
Us and the Titans.
The Jets have the most money on the table but with no visit scheduled which is a sign they are out.
Suh canceled his Raiders trip after us which tells us we are a serious contender.
Saints have no cap space otherwise they would probably be the favorite to sign him.
Titans are closest to us but they have distinguished players or coaches like we do.
The #1 offense last year, Goff over Mariota which is obvious, a D with AD, Peters, and Talib that will make his job easier not being the focal piece.
We can only give him about 10 mill which isn't bad chasing a championship which obviously his decisions tells us that's what he wants.
With all that being said if it's for about 10 million if not I'm down for getting a top notch DT in the draft. Plenty around for where we can do business.
winning requires winning the division first and there's no way in hell if Deshaun Watson doesn't get injured that the Titans sniff the playoffs.
With both DW and JJ Watt coming back, they're going to be one of the teams who shows up this year.
So their offer won't be as much about winning as Tennessee will win about as much as Miami did and Suh didn't think that was enough.
Jets are in it because they have stupid money right now.
Rams are in it because they have the best chance to win it all right now.
Titans aren't because they aren't likely to win their own division this year.
Saints aren't in it because in order to afford Suh, they'd have to dump key contributors which weakens their case about being able to win now.
I see it as Rams or Jets. Rams for win, Jets for money.
However, as I'm not Suh, a family member or his agent, I have to acknowledge that they may see things totally differently.
