I was watching the Chefs lose to the iggles. The iggles were allowed to false start on a key 4th and 1 and score a TD. But it's just my opinion, but one way to possibly stop the tush push is to have more beef out there than the iggles. In other words, you get a few other 300 pound linemen to play behind the D-line instead of 230 pound linebackers. The D Line will submarine against the O Line and then the next wave, instead of linebackers and DBs, will be more beefy D linemen. Of course you might still need to guard the edges, but at least the pile might be stopped in its tracks if the O-line has more beef opposing them. Thoughts?
The iggles will run the tush push until it is banned or Hurts gets injured. I'm not advocating intentionally injuring Hurts, but there is a lot of beef there in the middle of the LOS. Depending on the situation and field position, I might be OK with blowing up the C if my NT jumps a tad early. Maybe have Landman time up a blitz, and not be too worried if hes a tad early as he flies over the C and on top of Hurts. Make Hurts pay every time the play ends with the ball in his hands.

This reminds me what I've been hoping teams do to Patrick Mahomes when he does that cheap shit on the sidelines running out of bounds. (he fakes going out to deliver a hit on a CB, or slows up and flops on the boundary) The only thing worse than a 15 yard late hit penalty is a half-ass late hit penalty. If Patrick is even remotely close to the boundary, light the dude up.

If the Brotherly Shove can't be defended, at least make their offense think twice about deploying it. I'd have all the guys in the box smash early in unison. Give up 5 yards instead of 2 to put risk of injury on their guys instead of ours.

And............not to be dirty, but go low on that purposeful offsides. Once accidental Oline injury to a key player will make them reconsider
