I’m convinced now that we won’t be drafting a QB high as long as McVay is the coach. He does not seem to have the patience to develop a young QB. We’ll be going after the veteran established QBs in the mold of the Staffords, Cousins, etc type guys.
Didn't McVay develop Cousins, a young QB for the Redskins ? (yes, I said REDSKINS!)

Stafford and love are two of the most inaccurate passers in the league. Lot's of footballs will be overthrown, under thrown, thrown to whoever this Sunday. Going to be ugly.

But he had no choice in the matter - Goff was already in the team. Certainly the team wasn’t going to trade the #1 overall pick 12 months later. I don’t understand your point. After a few years with Goff, he gave up on him.
Further, even if McVay has this mindset day 1, he had no leverage/pull yet as a 31 year old first time coach. Once he established himself, he had all the leverage and more.

Goff had about 3 years in a row where he was looking pretty meh...

Here is something for you though... his last two years in detroit have been good - but still not as good as his first two years with Mcvay.

You lost me.
He was the OC who turned Kirk Cousins around, he's the HC that turned Goff around. Not seeing where he doesnt want to develop a QB?
He had Goff for 4 seasons, felt he maxed out and wanted an upgrade.
Im not seeing where he doesnt want to develop

He reached his pinnacle in the KC game
Havent really seen anything like that out of him since.
He's been good, some times really good. But he was flat out elite there for a while, until.... that Detroit game

And yet he got rid of him for an older Stafford.

Not sure why you can’t understand the difference between then and now. Back then, as the OC and then a 1st year 31 yr old coach, he had no choice.

Yes he did well imo with developing Goff and cousins. That’s not my point. Not saying he can’t do it. I’m saying he won’t want to do it. I can’t see him willing to go with a 1st round rookie QB as his main option and trying to develop him for a few years. He’s done that (well close to it). At this stage, i personally don’t think he’ll want to take that on. Maybe I’m wrong - we’ll see

Heck he’s been here how many years and we’ve drafted one QB during his time. One. A 25 yr old so-called safe and developed but limited upside guy. Why is that?

Henderson had demonstrated he can be productive as RB, even if he is JAG. Wolford has no business being on an active NFL roster. He's a practice squad QB and we're honestly lucky we got any production out of him. In my humble opinion.
This is their back up plan? Just about anybody would be better. Except Perkins. The only thing I can think of that would explain this, is they are refusing to put out any more cap money than they have to. knowing the offense when you are as awful a QB as Wolford is, doesn't mean shit. Stay with Rypien. He at least has a better arm.

Truth is, if Stafford isn't at qb I probably won't watch. So I guess it doesn't matter. Probably what the FO is thinking any way.

I'm not following the logic. The Rams look desperate and pathetic for trying to sign a QB off another teams PS, yet its perfectly fine to bring back a RB who was out of the league?
What's so hard to follow? Wolford did very little to help this team but was given every opportunity to succeed. Henderson was cut for no fault of his own to, seemingly, please Akers and remove any starting RB competition. Are you really dismissing the two different players we're talking about here? If you can't see the difference in this situation and the one with Henderson, I'm afraid I can't explain it in a way you'll understand.

Dresser Winn means the plan is still Stafford or bust. And I'm fine with that. Hope they can get this OL to be a little bit better on blitz pickups and stunts/twists and then maybe Stafford finishes the season and we get a playoff game. While I'm at it thinking of playing powerball wooo.

Now we are down to signing bedroom furniture since the amazing Wolford turned us down.
