How is that any different than trying to bring Wolford back?
Henderson had demonstrated he can be productive as RB, even if he is JAG. Wolford has no business being on an active NFL roster. He's a practice squad QB and we're honestly lucky we got any production out of him. In my humble opinion.

Heard these names kicked around. Kase Keenum? Jacoby Brissett? Matt Ryan? Colt MccCoy?

Tom cBrady?

Keenum would be serviceable til Stafford comes back. Brissett isn't any better than Wolford, and if they bring in Brady I will have nothing to do with the Rams for the rest of my life.

My friend said call Brady and I laughed because I know that won't happen but the GOAT on the Rams would be fun to watch.

To think people on this board said they would prefer him over JG.

Comical really. Made our front office look like clowns and I can't say I blame him. They're probably all drunk calling Wolford like he's an ex-girlfriend they miss. Pathetic and desperate look.

I'm not following the logic. The Rams look desperate and pathetic for trying to sign a QB off another teams PS, yet its perfectly fine to bring back a RB who was out of the league?

I just don't understand why Wentz or McCoy aren't already on the roster. They are substantially better players than Wolford.

Why is Dianna Russini the only one reporting all of this, and why should we believe her?
With all of the trade buzz going around I doubt the media is interested in the backup QB situation of 2 teams with a losing record.

Because the "ärt" of Quarterbacking isn't as big as deal as QBs who use their feet as much as their arm. McVay wants a 1 week rental and Stafford will be good to go after the bye. Wolford while not being a good QB knows McVay so the learning curve is less. Shanahan is doing the same thing w/ Purdy (round aboutly.....) by not going to Darnald and I know he's a better QB than Wolford. Coaches think week by week in these situations. We try to see a few weeks down the road and miss the forest because of the trees. But in the NFL things change week to week, so they have to see how the lanscape has (or has not....) changed. But it's the reason coaches are offered millions of dollars, and we havent been offered a dime for our knowledge base. Sorry but it's reality.

If they sign Luis Perez, I will freaking die. Come on Rams, put your big boy pants on and make a deal for a viable backup QB that can play over that weak armed turf throwing Brett Rypien. Also Mark Rypien played in the NFL for years, how come everyone seems to have trouble pronouncing Brett Rypien' s surname?

I would take everyone of them over Brett Rypien. Rypien is horrendous. I don't understand why they don't just sign Carson Wentz.

We've seen this before. I don't believe McVay enjoys developing young QB's. No reason not to have one or two on the practice squad. It's hard to grasp.

Sorry man but Wolford is fucking garbage. Could give 2 shits that he knows the offense. Its like keeping Bobby Evans because he knows the offense. Just because a coach is paid millions doesn't mean he won't do stupid shit.
