Saw an interview with Wolford and he indicated he wasn't sure if he or Stafford would take 1st team reps tomorrow.

He may not play but I took that statement as it may be more of a precautionary thing than an actual concussion diagnosis.

I'm kinda interested in seeing what mcvay does with this "opportunity". I had already (mostly) written off the season, so I'm curious what he'll do if stafford doesn't play.

He could double down on our current offense with Wolford or try to implement a new scheme that takes advantage of Perkins mobility.
Or both. I would start Wolford, but have a few packages for Perkins to use his skills etc. The Cards would be caught off guard a bit and that adds a dimension of explosion to the offense. And this doesnt put too much on Perkins because he has imitations in the pasing game.

Thank you Mr. Evans for your great protection.

WTF - is Sean Mcvay thinking? Does he watch game film or even pay attention to the offensive line play? I was wrong about the score late & thought Copper Kupp should have tried to get the first down instead of sliding. I could see if it was Matthew Stafford sliding to protect himself.

My whole thing though is Bobby Evans let his blocking protection through almost every time.A player would slide over to help so Bobby Evans could block the right player. He just never did.

How many times does it take to make it Insane? If that is the right saying. I was yelling at the TV for the intire 4th quarter to take Bobby Evans out.

SAD. He looked down one time to help Stafford up & I had to LOL shaking my head like WTF. You get him BLASTED & then want to help him up.Almost like routine.

What do you mean? He's perfectly good at just throwing it up and having Cutch steal it out of the air.

Stafford isn't playing well, at all. This could be interesting to see a different QB. Rams are doing nothing this year so this could be a good thing.

With the line we have it would look just like a pre-season game.

.

He looks like he's been concussed the whole season.

.

Stafford: “Hey coach, sorry I missed your call. You said yesterday you’d probably call today”.

McVay: “I said… you are in protocol today”

Doctors: “Looks like he’s ready to start”

Not funny? :D

Yeah, and there were some that posted the same about that David Edwards wasn't playing well at LG and that Bobby Evans playing there could be an upgrade.

Hardly a surprise with this offensive line. On that same note, considering how awful the o-line has been, a more mobile QB like Wolford and Perkins might actually be of more use right now, better equipped to run for his life, and scramble on plays to at least gain some positive yards.
