Shake it off, Stafford!

Shake It Off Memphis Grizzlies GIF by NBA

All teasing aside, they’ll do the right thing. On the heels of the Tua concussions, I will be surprised if he starts. Doctors are going to lean on the side of caution or risk second guessing.

It will be tough without Stafford; I want this win, dammit!

If Evans is still playing, keep Stafford out until Evans is finally benched

Let Perkins run for his life.

He's not our best chance to win a the moment. Let him heal before he takes the rest of the season pounding if we don't find a running game. Go rams

I would be just as happy to see Stafford sit this one out. The o-line is in shambles, why risk scrambling his brains further?

Head trauma before you are 100% fukky recovered is exponentially more dangerous. Remember the Tua fiasco? If we are not 110% that #9 could not benefit from more rest, err on the side of caution. Play the long game.

The Cards might well be without their starting QB, as well, which would help level the playing field.

Plus, a more mobile QB might not be a bad thing at present. Perkins and Wolford are better equipped to run for their lives and extend plays to make something out of nothing when the pass protection inevitably breaks down.

If he sits then fine. Its not like we're gonna score 20 points anyway. Maybe Wolford can move the chains enough to get some field goals and win 15-13. If they find the endzone somehow I doubt it'll be more than once.

Sadly McCoy is actually pretty good and gives them a distinct advantage over us

Agreed. He’s the better QB. I always question the preparation of a Kingsbury offense though. Hopefully our guys are better prepared with the backup in there.

listened to part of his wife's podcast -

Evidently, he reported it to the doctors that something was off. She said she would be fine with him quitting right now - but that he isn't ready for that and wants to keep playing. She also commented that she didn't think this was any hit in the Tampa bay game but just a cumulative result of hits from this season and a career.

After listening to her for 10 min I'd be surprised if he plays this week as well.

you should listen to it - she basically cries at the thought of what could happen to him in the future. It's hard to argue with her sentiment because I want to win football games.

Whatever she's a damn drama queen. He's been playing for 10+ years. She knows the risk associated with the rewards. Gimmie a break. Tell her to get a damn job. She seems bored

he's old and has a ton of mileage on his body. I'm afraid he will be done this year if he plays anymore games, the ol will get him killed. then, he will be done. we went all in last year and moved on from young Goff and got us a Superbowl. was awesome and lucky. this year worst team in history of the year after a Superbowl win and we are not even a little bit lucky this year. I can see why his wife wants him around for the other part of his career, the part where you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. can you imagine if we had a young Stafford? we would be set for years. now? not. go rams
