I'm extremely excited my favorite QB ever is back, and he's the best option BY far.

But my level of excitement depends on the money. Haha.

That's actually really understandable but I'll add detail to it by how it is structured in terms of cap impact. But regardless since its said and done, I'm happy he is back and hope he takes some more precious souls.

You have right to your opinion but this is an odd take. IMO hes been a class act. Well compensated but justifiably so. Compare him to an Aaron Rodgers or a Tom Brady and I’m ecstatic he’s our QB.

You're a great poster and I've enjoyed your contributions for years. I think you're way off base on this though. There is no evidence, ever, anywhere in his long and distinguished career, of Stafford being anything other than a team first class act.

Yeah it was just business. Matthew was pretty classy about it but his wife didn’t do him any favors with her attention seeking posts. That definitely impacted how Rams fans viewed the situation. The guy had two years left on his contract so it could’ve been handled better if she would have kept her mouth shut for awhile. But she’s always looking to be relevant.

" I'm still stubbornly optimistic that MS and the Rams will work it out. I think both sides are giving the appearance of "playing chicken" and "testing the market." But they both want to make it work. Rams want him for sure. And I just don't think MS is willing to jeopardize his legacy by giving up on a proven good thing....and starting over from scratch in the unknown. Lord knows he doesn't NEED the money at this point, it's all about ego and legacy now.

Besides... let's just wait and see if @El Chapo Jr's balls start tingling...."
