My Mom made it with the chipped beef. I loved it. I haven't eaten beef for probably 20 years though... so I gave up that delicacy. I know I would still love it taste wise... it would do a number on my stomach now though.

Ugh, I know tons of guys in the Army who would do biscuits and gravy, shit is nasty. Every so often I'd ask for a biscuit and they would put gravy on it unprompted, ruined it.

Well, where I served in Ansbach, there just weren’t a lot of options. Anything with flavor, was a godsend. I used to douse everything in hot sauce to boot. When you get lemons, make lemonade!
