For those who don't want to click the link, it's because of the possibility of Ferguson-related demonstrations spreading into St. Louis and disrupting the game.

It makes sense if the protesters are disrupting fans and the game, especially if they've previously had altercations with the fans. The possibility is real, but a shame that events completely unrelated to football might have to force the Rams to not play at home. While Indianapolis isn't far from St. Louis, they shouldn't have to be relocated.

when will we know?

The announcement for the Jets Buffalo game was made on Thursday last week, wasn't it?

This is BS. They won't move the game.

There was a Blues game on the night of the big riots and there wasn't a single incident.

I hate that they'd even think of altering this because of protests.

It won't be moved; there was a white group downtown St. Louis this morning, trying to organize a parade for "anything positive". Not sure how that is working out, but I can't imagine any problems. I think cooler heads are prevailing. One thing I've seen reference to of late is the lack of minority participation in local elections; which is in part why Ferguson is 2/3 black, but the local government primarily white. Only 6% of blacks voted in the latest local election; I doubt that'll be the case next time around.

Great post...People have to understand to vote it can make a difference and it beats the alternative of staying home and doing nothing. Get out make a difference and make your community a better place in all facets of society!

They didn't cancel the Blues game on Tuesday night, they didn't cancel the Survivor Series on Sunday night, the game will be played here.

I am not concerned

Mostly because I think those protesting knew if they messed with Survivor Series, Vince would just turn it into a really stupid and insulting angle... ;)

Just as we in America shouldn't let terrorism disrupt our way of life, we shouldn't allow the demonstrators to do that either.

The rioting has dropped off dramatically since the announcement from McCulloch. The game will be played and everything will go as planned.

Montgomery Gentry, here we come! haha

I don't think the 'protesters' are disrupting the game.
I have no doubt the 'rioters' and 'looters' may.

A group of 300 protesters would be smart not to mess with 19,000 drunk rednecks who get excited be the image of grown men beating on each other.

Maybe Fox will lobby to have the game in LA so they can give the middle finger at two cities at once.

Fox can lobby all they want. The game is being televised on CBS.
