That is one thing about coaching in LA... I mean there isn't really any upward move from that type of location (weather, market, opportunity).

The only reason why I think he would be on the list is he grew up in Ohio. That being said I couldn't imagine a situation were Sean Mcvay would walk away with the talent they have on this team. Crazy the stuff people come up with

Wow, this thread makes me realize that, in my mind, McVay is absolutely the most important piece on the Rams.

By far, frankly.

There is literally no offer I would accept as a trade for him. None.

Possible 3 Team Trade:

Patriots Get: Five 6th round picks from Rams; Promote McDaniels to Head Coach
Rams Get: Belichick & $500,000 Cash (Prepayment for future Belichick fine for cheating)
Cleveland Gets: Sean McVay (but, his gf stays in LA)

Worth Considering!!!

The only reason why the reporter asked Sean was so he could have the tape of him saying no. Everyone knew the answer, everyone wanted the tape, he just had the stones to get it.

I think that there's a very real possibility that McVay could be the next Browns coach..Of course that assumes that they won't be hiring one till the mid 2030s...

it was a ridiculous line by a betting agency to get some free publicity. it's mere existence didn't need justification by some jerk reporter asking that ridiculous question. mcvay probably wanted to tell him to fuck off but he's too nice a guy be that rude.

I did not know Zac Taylor was a offensive coordinator. Where was he offenoffe coordinator at?

I also heard that Shane Waldron would be a good candidate for the next head coach. The young coaches are taking over in this league. And he's only 39.

I think the guy from Stanford finally gets his shot.

So after all these years, David Shaw leaves Palo Alto for Cleveland? Maybe for Dallas, but I would be shocked if he took the Browns job. Now @fearsomefour they would have to include power, but they won't IMO because of Dorsey. IDK, Shaw could have had better opportunities, I believe he's a college coach and only leaves Stanford for USC IMHO.
