Packers sacked Russel Wilson five times. Nothing wrong with their pass rush.
That's true. The Seattle Wilsons were also forced to play catch up the entire game and pretty much abandoned their staple ground game. Lots of opportunities. To my eye the GB defensive front looks slow. Maybe because they had to chase RW around all day.

I mean, yeah, I think that’s it. Those are big dudes, Wilson can wind them easily, and he knew it.

Did you notice them on the sideline preaching gap discipline? We could all see it, they were gassed. Then, when they finally did have discipline and had to close, they really didn’t have that burst.

We’re spoiled with AD, there is no empty in that man’s tank, because it’s what he trains for. Maybe he can lend them the services of his dietitian :)

But definitely, Wilson did his fourth quarter thing in the third quarter since they were so far behind, and there is zero room for error against him in that mode.

Throw out the regular season game between those two as a point of analysis. Playoffs are a whole different animal.

Remember what Talib said last season when asked about the Rams defensive shortcomings? He brushed it off and said it doesn't matter in the playoffs, and then the Rams D went out and proved him right, playing great three games in a row.

As for the rematch aspect of it? Well, I remember in 1979 the Rams had a road game at Tampa Bay and got their asses whipped good. They went back to the same stadium for the NFC Championship, pitched a shutout, and advanced to the Super Bowl.

Again, playoffs are a different animal. Go Pack.

I think Lafleur will use the bootleg to get Rogers out on the edge. As long as he keeps Rogers moving and not just dropping straight back it should keep the pass rush off Rogers. Put pressure on jimmy crapollo and he will fumble or throw a couple picks and we will be watching the packers and titans in SB.

Packers should play a better game this time around. I don't think they are that good of a team but, you never know. Some early breaks and they can give the Whiners a game.

Well they were running the ball all over the Vikings so that isnt surprising. Hate the guy all you want, but dont just make shit up for the sake of hating someone.

No hate, just facts

Little Jimmy threw a pick and he handed off the rest of the day

Edit - 2-5 after the INT

74.7 rating

I don't have to make shit up...it's all in the box score :gtfo:

I can’t find the stats via google but I wish I had the ability to pull up numbers like the support crew does for the game commentary. I seen one last year that said that playoff rematches in the season favored the team that lost somewhere in the neighborhood of 82% since 1995.

That’s a hell of a stat!

I assume it’s because the losing team learned the tendencies and match up issues in the previous game to overcome the inadequacies they had.

I’m taking Green Bay.

Guaranteed if the Packers get up fast then the Whiners are out of their game plan And playing panic ball, in which they are below average at.

We all know SanFran sucks playing like that.

Did any of you watch the first game? I am genuinely curious. I just finished it a few minutes ago looking for some things to go on for the upcoming game. The Packers got past the 50 yard line 1 time the entire game and it was on a blown call by the refs. This was without 3 of their best starters on D not playing. Can the Packers win, sure they can but I am not seeing it at all. At all.

I agree, it does not look good for the Pack. Rodgers is still the best QB IMO. But at this point I am a Tenn fan. VERY tough O line and a horse at RB. They can run on anybody.
Just think, we had a shot at Lewan. If the Rams just grabbed him to go with AD in 2014 we would have that big, mean angry LT that gets the running game going. Instead, Fisher grabbed a lazy pile who was a holding call waiting to happen.

It will be the best point of my year, if the Niners lose out. I want the Titans to win the Super Bowl, but it's all good if the Niners lose their ass.

If the 9ers go to the Super Bowl I want the Titans to tackle Kittle a yard shy of the endzone with no time left on the clock in a 7-pt ballgame.

Nah, fuck that. I want the 9ers blown out in a slow demoralizing blowout with no time to mount a comeback.

Regardless of who is favourite, the Packers have a chance.

Also, either team is temporary claiming that NFC title until we get it back next season.

I'm looking forward to next weekend, potentially good games, some emotion invested to cheer against the 49ers, and a Patriots-free Super Bowl.

Not many picked the Pats over the Rams in 2001 Super Bowl. No one picked Tenn over NE/Balt in the playoffs this year. That's why they play the game. GB must take George "Curley Stooge" Kittle out of the game to stand a chance though.

Packers are a lot like us. They run similar offense and defensively they tend to "check out" at times where it's like a different unit.

So let's just hope their defense plays a great game and if they do the upset could happen.

what are you talking about? Did any of you watch the last game? G-String was throwing all over them.

to clarify, make them abandon the run and become one dimensional. Otherwise I don't think they win. Green Bay doesn't have as many weapons as San Francisco, and although they have a good pass rush, their Spine is not as good.

usually in a case like this I pick the experienced veteran QB, but Shenzhen has that offense clicking.
