Some really need to be honest with ourselves.

Didn't we look at the schedule these past few weeks and give this and the whiner game away?

Not only this game but this season has been one of the most fun I can remember.

We didn't win but almost. Which is much better than we all thought not long ago.

We have a really good team and didn't know it last August.

I will be surprised if we don't make the playoffs now.

GO RAMS!!!

I dunno guys. I thought the Ravens played very poorly. They could have crushed us even if Lamar just stopped missing wide open receivers deep every second play. How many huge plays did Jackson miss? But the Rams could not take advantage as we were too busy sabotaging ourselves.
So the Ravens played poorly and should’ve crushed the Rams but didn’t because the Rams played poorly? Do I have that right?

We should have 2 separate game day threads for all the sensitive people who can't handle a little pessimism or criticism towards the team. I'm guessing these are also the same people that think participation trophies are the best thing since sliced bread.

Sometimes the acrobatics these posters do to try and sugarcoat poor play is irritating as well, but no one ever complains about that. Grow some thicker skin.

Bingo. I was not expecting this game to be close. I thought for sure we were going to win after the defense made the stop in OT. I hate the result, but it was one of the most entertaining regular season games I've seen in a while, period.

Honestly, I'm more pissed off that this team gives us hope during games like this and absolutely frustrates us with games like Cinci and Pittsburgh. What does McVay always say? "Consistency is the truest measurement of performance." What does that say about a team who cannot consistently beat the bad teams but instead competes against the better ones? No clue because none of it makes sense.

At this point I don't want to hear about our playoff potential. This team isn't ready to compete for anything this year.

Bottom line is we are ALL fans at the end of the day.
The team is playing better than 99% of us thought they would but doesn't mean we should settle for "almost"

The Ravens are a top team, and we played them in their house.

They were trying to win the game too.

Barring a tie, someone had to win.

We came up short.

If that causes you to feel pessimism, so be it, but that's hardly the only rationale reaction to what we saw today.

Maybe I need to stop following the GDT thread during the game. Some of you were quitting on the team in the first quarter. Negativity is such a downer.
that's exactly why I don't take part in the GDT

There’s a reason Lamar is 20-1 vs NFC teams in the regular season. Defenses that have never seen him before tend to struggle. I just hate how easy so many of the completions were.

It's the hope that kills you - Ted Lasso

The future is bright.

Those doubting M<cVay were/are insane; he's a genius to do this with what he had back in August.

Tough loss. But sounds like you are not remembering the great things that happened today. Surely you aren't advocating a change at head coach?
No, I'm not. But that doesn't mean I can't criticize McVay as a head coach when a lot of these deficiencies we see are things that we've seen since he got here. How can we not get a play call in, communicated, lined up and ready to snap with anything other than 0, 1 or 2 seconds left on the play clock? Can we call time out to avoid a delay of game when it matters like, oh, overtime? Not in the first quarter of the game when were on the opponent's side of the field on 2nd and 1 or 2. He really makes it easy for people to call him stubborn, hard headed and unwilling to make certain adjustments.

Not only in their house, but with them coming off the bye.

Yes, I’m disappointed with the loss, but our guys fucking balled today. We were supposed to suck this year, yet this is another top team we went toe to toe with.
