Why does everyone think this means Von is a goner? He has a house in LA. He says playing with AD is like Shaq and Kobe. He recruited Odell, he loves the coaching staff and the way things are done in LA. Plus he won a Super Bowl in LA.

OK, so just to be clear here ... the Broncos have pushed ALL Their Chips Into the Middle of the Table ... They are ALL IN! ... and anything less than a Lombardi will make this trade a Monumental FAILURE. And, regardless of how this turns-out, Denver has been Reckless and Irresponsible with its future by trading all these draft picks.

Just trying to be honest, fair and objective here. Those are the exact things a majority of the Media Experts said in evaluating the Rams / Stafford trade thirteen months ago. And, the Media Experts are very smart.

Do you really think Jimmy Garapolo is what made that Niners team go? They beat the Rams with backup QBs. They have a much better roster than Seattle does.

Seattle is dumb. They might find another Wilson in about 10-20 years, but nah lets rebuild with picks and an old HC.

They should have kept Wilson, hired a young offensive mind as HC and rebuilt the entire coaching staff and GM/scouting dept with new blood.

Good. Now let it be 50 years before Seattle finds a decent QB.

Yeah. Could be awhile. Correct me if i'm wrong but in the last 40 years they've boasted Zorn, Krieg, Hassellbeck and Wilson. Not an impressive list IMO(Not that the Rams' list is much better). Wilson is the cream of that crop.

Funny though, i honestly didn't realize that Wilson is 33 yrs old. Time flies. That makes this trade a "tad" less stupid for Seattle in my view.

We paid 2 first rounders for a one trick pony safety and the Broncos gave up 2 and players for a QB who turns 34 in november. Watson is 26, very well rested, and apparently has the best massage therapy regiment in the game. I think if it looks like his legal stuff is not going to explode, he could easily get 3 firsts.

Prediction. Hawks make the playoffs this season, and Denver doesn't.

The good news is that it looks like Carroll is absolutely going to burn everything down before we can drive him off, which means we will probably suck badly enough to get a few spins of the wheel at a top QB again.

The other good news is that Seahawk merch is going to get much, much cheaper in a year or two.
