Lets be honest, the Rams aren't making any waiver claims or moves for anyone that can ascend the team.

They'll try and get a few more "development" cheap options and just wing it this year on Defense.

They say all the right things. But yeah, this is not a year they are going to make any moves to compete. If it really is all about next year they will have a high pick and cap money to improve the roster. And some of these young guys will have a year or two of experience. They should have a good idea of who looks like legit starters and who are more like back end role players.

Hopefully out of the 14 rookies and 2nd year guys they have they can find a enough legit starters. Then fill in the rest through free agency and/or trades. And start getting back to being a contender next year.

Entertaining offense for the unwashed masses. But the defense is likely to limit what they can do and will ensure they lose a ton of games if the offense struggles. Strikes me as a sort of tactical tanking to make the best of a rebuild year.

It's not a bad approach tbh. Tanking done Rams style.

But what will be funny is if they win a ton of games and get into the playoffs. Still hopeful even though it feels like we're gonna be in that .500 range most likely.

I am sticking with my prediction of 7 wins.

Cardinals twice
Packers
Colts
Saints
And 2 others that we win because of our offense (Browns and Commodes)

I’m gonna be very wrong on my prediction that we would see big changes between initial 53 & game one.

I hate to say it but it looks like you were right. Even a broken clock and all that :)
