Damn shame about McCutcheon. Bottom line is numbers though. He looked great last PS, but not good in the RS. This PS? Nothing... whether it was his fault or not.

Maybe he'll be on the practice squad. He physically looks the part, but obviously has a ways to go.

I would be looking at not only at all NY Jets DE/Edge cuts, Pats LB cuts, but any big-bodied 330+Lb true NT. Probably can choose from those placed on their (Jets/Pats) respective practice squads to handily be part of our top 53. I don't have much excitement past our top 5 defenders and we could use serious upgrades everywhere, although I think our CB and Safety rooms will become above average as the year goes on. One thing we don't have to worry about is anybody raiding our practice squad, unless people watched different preseason Rams games than I did.

This week should be fun, already looks like we will have options, what we do through this period will say a lot about our staff and how they feel about position groups. I think if we grab more players who they replace will be just as insightful. Love this part of the process

I believe Mathis will go to IR and they will pick up an OLB. They will drop one DL and that will give them the kicker to add and then maybe they drop a safety and replace that player with another QB to backup Stafford, with Zappe, Grier & McCoy

If they drop Desjuan Johnson, I will be very unhappy. Given all of the people I like getting dropped, I'm guessing I'll be very unhappy tomorrow.

Can't Jason Taylor and Hunter Long go on IR too, tomorrow? Opens up 2 spots.
Maybe lose a DL if we pick up a better one.
So far the NT and EDGE pickings sound pretty thin.
A better ILB wouldn't hurt either.
Offense looks OK to me.

Be interesting to see who passes waivers.

I'm starting to think they need to pick up one of each.

The Cowboys cut Quinton Bohanna who is a NT. He’s a big body that rarely saw the field because the Cowboys have a good D-line. He is listed at 6’-4” 360 lbs. if the Rams need an immovable object on the defensive line, maybe he could hold his ground better than Bobby Brown.
