I am not sold on Donald. He just seems like he will get swallowed up by NFL linemen because of his size. I know he is quick but to me he isn't worth this high of a pick because he is just too small to be a great NFL DT and to me if your picking at #13 you better draft a GREAT player.
D'Marco Farr and a decent career being a littler DT

Surprise Philly did not make this pick. Another speedster for Flaco

Philly needed a NFL ready WR and Beckham was made to order. But we admire Cooks straight line speed.

Don't they have that in Cooper and Maclin. What they do not have is the speed they lost in Jackson. Just my thoughts not saying your wrong and Beckman is a good pick but not sure the Eagles have a deep threat on the roster.

I understand but Maclin can't seem to be able to stay on the field and Cooper disappears at times. I actually like the Ram's WRs better. ;)

Beckham IS a deep threat and he IS fast. Maybe not Jackson or Cooks fast, but he ran a 4.43..Same time as Watkins and faster than AJ Green, almost the same as Julio Jones..etc.

Representing an offense that often eschews shorter passes, Landry and Beckham both caught more passes downfield than average. Striking though, is the fact that Odell Beckham caught 62% of balls thrown to him past 10 yards. Beckham is clearly the deep threat here while Landry shows a tendency toward more intermediate passes.

OBJ is definitely a deep threat. More so than Cooks, really. I don't see why he's not a good choice.

How did you get he's not a good choice out of this statement?

NFL Draft 2014: Brandin Cooks of Oregon St. says he can be ... is now the Eagles No. 1 need headed into the NFL draft. ... 40-time: 4.35 College/Conference.

Stats can support an argument but sometimes you have to do a little digging. Cooks is a deep threat and teams will adjust their defense if they think a player can get loose in the backfield. that is why Jackson was so valuable as an Eagle. Teams had to adjust their coverage to account for him. With that being said I am sure Beckham will get his opportunities if drafted by the Eagle he is faster than I thought he was.
