IF we are fortunate enough to win the Super Bowl this year, Woods deserves that motherfreakin ring along with everyone else. He has been unselfish and a complete WR since the day he came from Buffalo. I hope. OBJ can be what we hope he can be. There will still be a learning curve for OBJ and I hope Van Jefferson is ready to rock and roll"…..

Who would you recommend they go after now? Apologies for flat out asking you, but I know you do a great job scouting potential players for the Rams.
I'd say bringing in OBJ looks even smarter now. Don't think there's anybody to go after at this point. Could maybe sign a guy off a practice squad. I know Golden Taint talked about wanting to play for us earlier in the year, but I'm not sure he has anything left.

John Brown or Willie Snead are the best options IMO if we're signing someone from a practice squad. But I think this means Ben Skro gets a lot more snaps moving forward. Don't think we can afford to play OBJ on special teams, can't risk him getting hurt on teams.

I'd be surprised if the Rams sign another WR from some other teams practice squad at this point. If we do, he's elevated directly to our regular roster, not only occupying a roster spot, but becoming the 2'nd player in just a matter of days who doesn't have a grasp of our offensive playbook. I'd say bring up one of our own practice squad players, either Landen Akers who had very good pre-season with us, or that new 6'6" guy we picked up a couple weeks ago, Warren Jackson. Skowronek has to be our #4 WR after Kupp, Van Jeff & OBJ, so the next guy up is likely a #5, there is just no more CAP money for another free agent or trade. Koski may ultimately win the #5 role, so maybe the Woods roster spot goes to another position, perhaps one where raiding another teams practice squad makes more sense. Ben Mason anyone ?
jmo.

Time for this WR crew to step up.
Woods is one of the faces of this new-look Rams squad. He's been here since the beginning of McVay's tenure.
Not only is he a helluva football player, but he seems like a genuinely good dude. This better not be his last season in horns.
Wish him a speedy recovery. I think the WR group (and the whole team) will come together and kick some ass for him.

Woods has been my favorite Rams the past three years. He’s a do everything player, just love that about him. This truly sucks!

Rumor has it that DeSean Jackson has been playing Russian Roulette today ...

I bet OBJ thought he would just work himself into the lineup while learning the system. Now, he’s going to get the full load as #2 WR without knowing any of the system. This part of his career will be defined by how he performs…..No Pressure! Lol
