I thought Yarber was gone until I scrolled down a bit.

Kingsbury brought Brian Johnson with him I see.

I will request a sticker because I called the possibility of the Woods addition to the coaching staff after he retired a Ram.

Am I being paranoid if I feel like Kingsbury is the contingency plan for Sean retiring if he wants?
Little Bit.

I think this is McVay wanting to do two things ... bring in an aggressive offensive mind that will freely offer his insights ... and ... giving a friend a Life-Line.

If Kingsbury did not get an OC offer, that could have pushed his coaching career back significantly.
Now, if the Rams continue to be a high quality team, with a top-tier offense, Kingsbury could be well set-up as quickly as 2027.

You might be right. Assistant head coach is a huge role though. At least in title. I'll admit I dunno what it means he does lol

Well, that is rarely the case ... But ... Maybe

There may not have been a viable option.

Couldn't offer him OC ... that was Scheelhaase. Wanted to hold onto Ragone, and gave him a Fugazy title.

Looks like Jimmy Lake is now the DB coach. Wonder if Pleasant is a good motivator/ nice guy, but not a great X & O guy.
When your defense shits the bed that hard someone's going to lose their job. There is a lot at stake here. This is a top level franchise with championship aspirations every season.

I wish Pleasant well. Polish up those areas that bit you in the ass Aubrey and keep on truckin. I think Coen is a great example of that.

I'm not usually the Mcvay doomer but that just felt interesting. Hopefully it's just doing a poor buddy a solid.

Looking at the staff this group is absolutely loaded. I like Kliff in the second-in-command type role. He's going to give McVay a lot of resources in gameplanning for opponents. Also what is interesting is the structure of having offensive resources on the defensive staff. I like that. Not sure how common that is but it makes a lot of sense.

Shula and Lake are going to be setting the corner priorities for overhauling that room. Hope they get it right this offseason, for their sakes.
