Damn. Always liked his work. May have been an eccentric man, but it's always sad when someone passes.

Rest in peace and paradise, Ozzy.

Ozzy is an Icon.

He is one of my all time favorite musicians.

I really enjoyed his candid attitude and never shied away from the truth.
His life was an open book.

Fortunate as a fan from Black Sabbath to solo from OZZFEST to have seen him many times. The most memorable was VIP at The Gorge for Black Sabbath's return. Cool pic with my Uncle Dave and one from the pit. RIP Prince of Darkness.

Geez, only a couple weeks after his final performance. Ozzy has looked like he was on deaths door for decades. He had a good run.

RIP

Saw Ozzie in person at the "US Festival" back in the day. Was an awesome show...super entertaining in many ways. He was like "God" on that stage.

Saw Ozzy almost 20 years ago as Black Sabbath. Even back then his voice was one of one, but his memory wasn’t great. The audience helped him sing the last four songs as his mind wasn’t fully there. We didn’t care, we still had a great time.

Rock in Power John Michael Osborne.

I had a chance to see him several times when I was a teenager and he was on a tour after Sabbath.....each time I managed to get myself into trouble and get grounded and missed him.
I was fortunate enough to see him on these last incarnation of Black Sabbath a couple of times.
Ozzy was living proof that being unique and talented and working hard can take you further just natural gifts.
Make no mistake, he was not what one would think of as a great singer or front man.....but, he managed to be both and much more.
You don't have his career over decades and decades, thousands of shows, millions of tickets and albums sold and classic song galore without talent. He was massively talented, just not in the traditional way.
He was not a great singer in terms of just being a singer.
Not a good looking guy really.
None of the boxes one would normally check for a "star".
But.....man......the list of songs to his credit.
It is seemingly never ending.
Dude could play a 4 hour set and not run out of classics.
Not very often can it be said that someone (and in this case his great bandmates) can change the direction of an entire industry, world wide.
Black Sabbath and Ozzy changed music forever.
Beyond a legend.
Thanks for all the music Ozzy.

His kid Jack is into paranormal investigating. I wonder if there will be a TV show coming where he tries to make contact with his dad?
