He broke contain a few times but the LBers seemed to do a good job of getting there quick enough to either force a throw or only give him the very few rushing yards he had.

Yes, that is a great way to approach Murry. He can't see over his own lineman. He needs to get outside to do any damage. My complaint as always, and yes I am kicking a dead horse, is the cushion by the DBs. Not a bad plan against the depleted cards, but it relies to much on the offense making mistakes. It is a nonstarter against the best offenses in the league. We saw the Bills carve us up. We have to play Mahomes and others who will do likewise. Maybe at least line up at the line of scrimmage and back off once in a while. Make it hard to get off the line of scrimmage so they can't just go right to where the QB knows they will be. It just seems to be the Default and it is too easy for good Os to beat. I also have to admit, even when we win, I hate our DBs playing that way. It is so much more fun seeing the DBs playing in your face football. Plus I want to see the Rams with the ball. Not the other team.

Think about this: we have the greatest defensive player of this generation. The best defensive tackle is years, possibly ever (definitely top 3). Damn near unblockable 1 on 1, still very successful 2 on 1 and even beats 3 on 1 with enough regularity to make it a noticeable part of his game. We have a guy for which the only thing an offense can do to limit his impact is to throw short, quick passes. To further that impact we went and traded for one of the best man to man CBs in the game right now and we keep bringing in man skill CBs (maybe not Durant and Kendricks, I didn't read thoroughly on their profiles, but that's still fairly recent). So we have a DT that can't be stopped, a CB group built to give him more time to get home, and a defensive scheme designed to negate all of that. It's working. But it's frustrating because it's 1) not playing to our strengths, 2) just an irritating way to play football, and 3) not very fun to watch as a fan.
I'm thrilled that the team is winning. That doesn't necessarily make the in game experience enjoyable. The post game experience is great. Watching the opposing offense mount an 8 minute drive while converting all but 1 or 2 fourth downs is very upsetting though.
Ultimately I'll be happy with whatever as long as we're winning. That doesn't mean I will enjoy watching the opposing team get guaranteed 5-6 yard plays every play, every drive until what looks like a miracle stop in the red zone.
Is there another QB currently in the NFL that seems to demonstrate as much frustration and disappointment towards his teammates and/or coaches during a game, as Kyler Murray?
Reminds me of a top-DB who looks around as if to blame someone else when he gives-up a big-play. Unfortunately, Ramsey does that but he is far from alone. Marcus Peters comes to mind but there are others.
Not Quarterbacks. They generally give credit to others when things go well (except for Aaron Rodgers); and take responsibility for failures ... even those that are not their fault ... again, except for Aaron Rodgers.

Excellent to hear! I remember writing on here when we signed him that I think he'd transition to a real nice NFL OG.
The ramifications of him being good are significant. They can go into next season with him at one guard with Shelton, Anchrum & Bruss competing for the other and have quality depth.
And he could be your backup LT.
They could look at draft for a true future OT.

I think it is often pretty clear that some things coaches won't admit to like admitting deficiencies in their players. So yeah, I can state that some of that was coach speak.
We've heard McVay and what he says when there are deficiencies though and that stuff after the game was not it. It all goes back to you hear what you want to believe when coaches talk.
