I
told everyone this season was not over, that I trusted in this WR corps and its depth, that the doom and gloom was not warranted, that with the best QB in the NFC and a top 5 head coach, we will be in every game.
Chicago and Green Bay will be very tough tasks, but like San Fran, not undebatable. We are catching them all at a good time. Finally, some luck, given all our injuries! San Fran was heavily beat up today just like we are. Green Bay will be down their QB or, best case, likely Jordan Love will not be 100% if he does suit up. Caleb Williams still clearly is not up to NFL speed, so we catch Chicago at a good time too. Plus, Keenan Allen is hurt, who is absolutely invaluable for a rookie QB, he will transform that offense with his routes, steady hands, and veteran savvy. Williams is getting better week to week but won't be final form when we face the Bears.
This team can scrap together enough Ws to stay competitive down the stretch when we get healthy!
The real shame is we did not beat Detroit. We should have. Imagine being 2-1 right now, with these injuries, having played this quality of opposition...
