In fairness, the Rams' D didn't give them much of a chance. Seattle also tried opening up the O early in the season and led the league in yards, but it exposed the D. (Schottenheimer also tried that with the Rams but Fisher shut it down.) So I think Carroll is also responsible for the offensive strategy.

Great win ... really showed a lot of toughness, and an ability to overcome challenges... Showed character as a team today, and Ram fans should be proud.

I mean, to me we're playing with house money... Jared playing through a broken thumb...fortunately Wolford only has a stinger... We dodged a huge bullet with Kupp. But also with Wolford. If we had lost him and something goes wrong with that thumb of QB1 we would have felt it. So I'm enormously relieved here.

All things considered we are pretty goddamn healthy going into game 2 of death match.
