I hope so. Flores got in our ass again. I hope McVay and Goff have learned from that game and the Super Bowl.

Did you notice the quote during the game about Jared can't play scared he has to be in control. I immediately thought of the Miami game and saw it as a turning point in the way Goff has played compared to before the bye. Its almost like he reverted back to early last year (some good some bad). He looked in control today. I loved seeing more of Goff rolling out in this game. I think it helps him to get straight.

I even saw that play I said about missing this year where everyone goes one way then a receiver goes the other. This time it was Woods instead of Gurley.

Its great to see Seabass and Gaines both playing very good football. It was also good to see Obo back on the field. I loved Henderson's long run. The Cardinals defense was getting tired by the end.

On to the Patriots. Hoe the he'll do they beat the Chargers by so much. The Cheat riots offense has not been goid all year. I'm expecting more of a game like they had wity the Cards. If Arizona can hold them to 20 the Rams defense should be able to hold them to 13. I hope those 45 points the Cheats scored were an anomaly.

What
I think he didn't. In the Seattle game, they talked about "lock" coverage. Basically, the rest of the defense plays zone and Ramsey plays man on the #1 WR. It looked like they were using that against Hopkins for most of the game. If I'm right about that, Ramsey is playing man on Hopkins there. That means either Fuller or Hill is responsible for sticking with the other guy crossing the field. Ramsey seemed frustrated that the other two DBs ran with his man, not frustrated that he blew the coverage.

Whatever happened on that play, we haven't seen much of that kind of blown coverage this year. Seems like it used to be a common occurrence in the past. Now, I actually have confidence that it will be a one-off and they'll fix it.

We have the #3 run defense in the NFL. Feels good after the way we got gashed last year.

One other thing I want to mention that I mentioned in the game thread. Noteboom needs to do some self-scouting. He was tipping plays after Goff changed the play at the LOS. He would sometimes realign after the change. When he'd do that, you could tell if we were going to pass or run based on his stance. He pass blocked well in this game, so I don't want people think I'm attacking him. That's just something defenders will key on if he doesn't address it.

WOOT WOOT

Hats off to D. Henderson with that killer TD run to shift the momentum massively! And what a move by Hollins to roll with Murray and get the strip!

Good game boys!

What a difference a week makes. Goff rebounds with a great game.
Some damn nice throws into tight windows. Love the RB’ s today. Those kids play hard.
The D did their job. Still really like the new kicker.
I can sleep soundly tonight.
Noticed our kicker kicks a very straight ball...no fade

Offensive line play was much, much better in the second half. Havenstein got abused early, but I was really impressed with Blythe at C. Its quite an impressive group they've managed to get playing at a high level with this zone block scheme from not a lot of resources. After all the years wasted spending high picks on offensive linemen (we might need to do so with a Left Tackle sometime soon of course) thats been a really refreshing change.

And the third game ball goes to Goff. Had some great throws, placed the balls where the receivers could get it and not be killed, ran for a touchdown, threw a beautiful ball to Higbeast, and then ran for the final first down.

Definitely a statement game.
And the fourth game ball goes to Joseph-Day.
Very active game with several tackles, two batted passes and a great play where he ran down Drake from behind.

Just for context go look at the whiners loss thread compared to this one ...don’t have to go too in depth ... just look at the page count

He's really come in strong ever since Robinson was activated, he was playing well before but the recent weeks have been big. He had 7 tackles last week plus the FF.
