Great win. Nice bounce-back game for Jared, who did it without the running game being steady (although there were good runs here and there). Cam Akers made his case to be the #1 today. But Hendo has the TD run I've been waiting for since he got here, and what a great time to do it. D played better than the score indicated, had they not been fucked by poor ST's, would have probably held the Cards to two TD's and our margin of victory would have been much bigger.

Good shit all around. And the Seahawks lost too. And I didn't need to go to the gym to work out today because Rams games like this make my heart rate jump and cause me to burn lots of extra calories!

I think McVay has been waiting for this game since 2/4/2019. I bet it’s been circled since the schedule was released.
Bet he has.

I‘m planning on a Belichik special - grabbing, holding, slow the Rams - down-ugly ass-defense and cheating-bullshit game

Because that’s what they do.

They make it boring.

They make it suck.

it will look like the Rams are running in quicksand because of all the clutching and grabbing from the dickheads.

I’ll hate it because of their style of play.

Just win baby...I don’t fucking care what it looks like.

First and foremost..... I'm probably the biggest Goff homer there is. That being said..... It's concerning that we have turned into a dink and dunk Offense.
Brady made his career being a dink and dunk QB with the exception of the year Randy Moss was there

.

There's not enough chatter about the great Justin Herbert. Where are all the fanboys?

.
Belichick usually eats young QBs. Another one bites the dust lol.

Great game

Just hope McVay noticed that when Goff rolls out more than 4 times that good things happen with our offense. That is his strength.

Goff only rolled out 4 times against SF.

Get us a speed burner next year and another year for our young Oline and the Rams are back down field.

Ramsey’s response showed he knew he blew the coverage

I think he didn't. In the Seattle game, they talked about "lock" coverage. Basically, the rest of the defense plays zone and Ramsey plays man on the #1 WR. It looked like they were using that against Hopkins for most of the game. If I'm right about that, Ramsey is playing man on Hopkins there. That means either Fuller or Hill is responsible for sticking with the other guy crossing the field. Ramsey seemed frustrated that the other two DBs ran with his man, not frustrated that he blew the coverage.

We'll never know the call but I agree with the above. I suspect Hill peeled off his guy to try to make a play. Might be able to see things better when the 22 comes out but it's guesswork as usual.

Either way though Hill bounced back in a big way.

That play irked the fuck out of me. The Rams paid Ramsey to take away the big fish. Do your job. Don't worry about Ramsey's guy, stay with your guy.

You must be right because you’re telling so. Thanks

Finally got to watch the game and boy did Jared make up for last week. He did a great job escaping the pocket and extending plays. Lots of nice throws too. I also liked how he spread the ball out. Most of all he protected the ball better.

Kupp and Woods were great and reliable as always.

Akers and Henderson looked damn good in the running and passing game. Reynolds had a nice catch or two and Van Jefferson got a chance to show what he can do and he took advantage. I think we'll be seeing more of Akers and Jefferson from here on out.

Higbee had some nice catches. The TD catch was beautiful. Everett with some nice catches as well. A couple times he had some decent yards after the catch.

OL did pretty good.

Special teams is not good. We need a new coordinator. Tonight was Nsimbas first fumble on a return so I'm not ready to give up on him yet. Wish he was a little quicker though. He's got that top speed but needs to be more elusive.

Gay missed a field goal by hitting the uprights but he looked sharp otherwise so I'm still feeling good about our kicker.

Man the whole defense was outstanding. Ramsey beat Hopkins and Hill had a pick six. The safeties were quiet but they did their job. Donald with a sack or two and Seabass had a tackle for a loss i think. if not for a face mask Floyd would've had a sack. Robinson batted a pass. Hollins with a forced fumble and Greg Gains recovered. Reeder looked better and Young had a TFL or two. Ogbo looked pretty good too.

I said it before and I'll say it again I hope like hell we can keep Staley as our DC. He's really something man.

Fuller continues to impress. He got a great jump on the Hopkins TD. Had he played the ball instead of the man, he might have had a pick six. Murray got very lucky there. But the instincts and feel are great for a rookie.

I agree. He's a rookie and he's gonna make mistakes but he'll learn. He's had an outstanding rookie year so far though IMO. I think we got a good one man.
