Yep. And they can still activate him from the practice squad.Looks like McVay made up his mind on Tutu returning lol. I think getting Tutu back on the roster is the right move. Guess they see Hampton as the most expendable guy.
Earlier today, I re-watched the game (again) ... and Desjuan Johnson played a lot ... throughout the game ... almost exclusively at Edge ... thought Johnson was very effective.I think they like what they saw from Johnson.
As I recall, he's drawn a couple holding penalties on wide runs and that's about it.He played a few snaps on defense on Sunday and looked lost and ineffective. I would be happy to welcome him back on the practice squad for his special teams work but he’s been disappointing as a pash rusher and/or LB
Yeah, I said that a few yrs ago that they should make a project out trying to make him a LB instead of an edge. Looked like he put on weight this year and looked slower. I guess in an attempt to hold up better in the run game.As I recall, he's drawn a couple holding penalties on wide runs and that's about it.
I still think he'd make a better off the ball LB.
Definitely more active than Hampton.I think they like what they saw from Johnson.
Desjuan Johnson!Too bad he's gone. Wish him well, but they can find a better and more athletic option at edge.
You know I hate him... ~ @MementoDesjuan Johnson!
Best Mr. Irrelevant ever. Fuck Purdy; he lost his job to Mac Jones, and he's a 69er, so that automatically disqualifies him.You know I hate him... ~ @Memento
