And what annoys me is that they are considering Atwell No 1 for KR and PR and he has almost no experience in the reg season doing that. They should at least have him doing that in the preseason.

100% agree on this. But when it comes to special teams that has been the one area Coach McVay makes his most questionable decisions. So not too surprised by it.

Every year McVay holds Tutu out of the preseason games saying he will be a regular part of the receiving rotation, and then once the regular season starts he chooses not to use him. Very frustrating for Tutu.

He kicked it right of the goal post by about 3 yards.

It didn't fade or anything. Just a straight miss on it.

However, it was over 50 yards and he was only 8 out of 15 last season on over 50.

So it may take time for him to get used to kicking over 50.

I still wasn't that impressed with Bennett's play.

However, I was not calling for his head after 4 interceptions. That was just one game.

Today, he played ehhh. Just good enough to win with a great defense.

In all seriousness though I still figure they'll look at vet QBs. Bennett not being ready for QB2 is not too bad a reflection on him. He's a rook basically. Doesn't mean he won't be a QB2 down the road.
