I didn't vote because you don't have a Meh option. I've got no problems with the color scheme. Design details yes. But in a few years it's going to change again so why get worked up about it? I have more problem with the logo. It's shameful that the Chargers have done a better job overall. They listen to their SD fans and reverted back to their popular powder blue (more in keeping with UCLA LOL).

Like I said the color schemes are fine it's in the detailing design of the uni's and helmet that I don't like as well as the logo. You watch the Ram head is going to be much more popular. If they were to put that on a hat I'd buy it. But I won't buy the monstrosity they are passing off as their new logo.

40 years 2 months 2 days 2 hours 3 minutes. So I make the cut!

FUCK THESE UNIFORMS!

Honestly the worst thing about them is the gradual numbers on the home jersey. Really? Wtf? That is so fucking ugly. And it’s not on both it’s on one. So why have it at all. This is why gun to my head I’d choose the bone grey one.

Ps does this mean i barely qualify to be an old bastard now? Shit..

I like the colors, and I am not as opposed to the split horns on the helmet as I thought that I would be. Also, I don't hear any of you bastids mentioning that another new uniform variations (adding to what we have now) are coming out each of the next two years...

I tend toward the satirical when it comes to world visions, but yeah, as a liberal male over 40 I find these uniforms a sad commentary

Im 27 and I like the new uniforms for the most part. I dig the colors and the gradient. The horn on the helmet is growing on me. The sleeves look fine as well as the little LA logo on the back of the neck. The blue on blue doesn't bother me. I dont care for the patch on the left shoulder. The bone on bone is meh. Not a big fan of the numbers.

36, I don't like the uniforms overall. The colors have the potential to be amazing. The helmet is growing on me, I see the 3D curl effect with the horn now. The horns on the shoulder look too small and I don't see any curl to show the bottom of the horn there. I miss the yellow around the collar and the gradient numbers and stripe look tacky to me.
The bone color away uniform is the biggest WTF? for me. That doesn't remind me of anything Rams. Changing the color of socks isn't a different uniform either IMO. I wanted the look that is in @Merlin 's Avi.
The Yellow pants would really help the bone look.

I'm stealing this.
Every cliche/saying has its equal and opposite cliche. Seriously.

"Discretion is the better part of valor."

OR "Fortune favors the bold."

Just can't stand it when some ppl try to "win an argument" by spouting a cliche, as if it backs up their line of reasoning.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm not arguing against any individual poster or referring to any specific post. Just randomly expressing my distrust for cliches in general....!

I find it hilarious how moms and kids are the perceived demographic for these new uniforms. I’ve read shit like “my kids live them.” Well fuck your kids if that’s the criteria we have to meet in today’s world where we give a big fuck you to true fans who love this team (Insert Chill button here)

What is happening to football? The pussification of what was once a decent sport enjoyed by both men, women, and kids knows no ends now. It’s like having men’s and women's bathrooms wasn’t easy enough to understand, they had to create unisex bathrooms so as not to offend the 0.01% that have both sets of parts. I had to use one of those “non-offensive” unisex bathrooms at a Zankou falafel place in Glendale and the toilet had piss all over the toilet seat - And I thought, how is a female supposed to go to the restroom on that? That sorta mess was reserved for the men’s bathrooms, where guys piss all over the lid on purpose. But women they keep their public restrooms pretty damn clean. You know cause we as men have all had that emergency where we had to pop into the female bathroom to take an urgent leak and marveled at how they actually flush toilets. But no, that wasn’t good enough to leave alone — some fruitcake had to suggest eliminating the concept of men and women. Well guys what — it doesn’t fucking work

I mean, have the powers that be (in this case the Rams Org) taken the 95% of men and women who actually watch the game for what it is, so much for granted that they’ve catered to a mythical 5% who don’t give a fuck? That’s the only thing I can think about when someone drops some bullshit about “tradition being the enemy of progress” — granted that may look good in a fortune cookie or a bumper sticker but it’s absolute bullshit. Nobody said, don’t change the uniforms. Nobody said “don’t change the colors.” Nobody fucking said that. Nobody suggested that we go back to leather fucking helmets so get that shit outta here.

But is it too much to ask not to make our uniforms look like the Solid Gold dancers? Or Kids toys? I mean all we asked for was that they look tough.

What’s happened here is a lot of over-thinking. Like someone needed to find a way of capturing that mythical unicorn of Super Bowl commercial and Halftime Show audience Full time. I mean - Why so we even have this poll to begin with? It’s fucking bullshit

You guys know that store Michaels, right? It is a craft store. Mostly females but you find yourself going in from time to time to get a picture framed or to get some supplies for little Timmy’s class project etc. You don’t see Michael’s revamping their corporate ID to appeal to kids, or to men. Cause they aren’t fucking stupid and overthinking shit to the point of becoming a joke.

Here is proof.
I have read shit about how the uniforms capture the sand from hr beach. The sand??? Fuck off.

Why in the fuck is anyone considering the beaches of Los Angeles? There are no fucking beaches in Los Angeles unless you count that strip of dirt at the end of the runway at LAX. For anyone to be conceptualizing football uniforms to articulate sandy beaches is fucked. It’s pure fuckery

This regime overthought things so much in their attempt to personify LA and to appeal to some mythical base of dans that it has turned the best uniforms in the NFL into a laughing stock. Sorry but it’s true. And now there are rumors of yet more uniform changes in the next few years. It’s a nightmare come true.

I guess this poll is just mean to gauge reactions from fans like me - fans that are old enough to see a thing or two and weigh in on what we think of the teams approach, cause people 40 and above have seen a thing or two. You know, like New Coke or Al Capones vaults. Well i have seen enough to know that these uniforms will eventually be replaced in a few years with ones deemed by the higher ups at corporate as “traditional.”

And then quotes will follow like “culture grows on the vines of tradition” or some other bullshit to erase the memory of this insane move by our Rams.

Heaven help us.
Go Rams

You need to let the younger generation and their split horns lead the way. Give them a sense of pride, to make it easier. Let the children's laughter, remind us how we used to be...

In otherwords: Ok, Boomer.

...... But unisex bathrooms were invented before gendered bathrooms...

Not versed in commodial history
I will take your word on it though. I was referring to the Zankou Chicken restroom in Glendale that had two bathrooms but instead of being marked “men” or “women” where marked neither and allowed both sexes to use either of them at their discretion. Beside that mistake on my part, I hope it doesn’t cloud you front the overall point I was trying to make — and that’s that these uniforms to me feel totally inauthentic, in both their design and motivation

.

there seems to be a lot of push back against the name patches on the jerseys.

let me be clear here, i love them. i reckon they make the jersey look so much better.

it's like back in the day when fox introduced the score and downs in the corner of the screen when they first won the rights to telecast football games. the other networks laughed at the new guys because it looked so corny to them. within a year they were all doing it.

sometimes something just makes sense.

I think as a fellow SoCal 60 plus year resident, I pretty much can agree...but you best be prepared to duck and cover when the 0.01% catches wind of this

I wasn’t blown away by the uniforms at first, but they’ve honestly grown on me.

I am digging the unique concepts like the home jersey lacking sleeve numbers, and the new ‘bone’ color.

The only thing I would change about them in their current version is dropping the yellow stitch on the patch, and removing the gradient numbers
