I don't know what the hell i was doing. Also when I said Kay looked like a whore, I forgot to add, "not that there's anything wrong with that." I am pro-whore.
Just wondering if a brand new whore can say that? What's the cut off for being a pro-whore? Asking a friend.

Yeah Perkins tbh deserves an entire thread of his own. The guy really has played well. He'll be facing a Fangio defense this weekend too that is very hard on young QBs and he'll play the entire game. So if he shows well again (and I think he will) the Rams may get some trade interest around the league.

I've always felt like McVay should be flipping young QBs behind his starter for picks. Maybe that happens with Perkins but tbh I really like the idea of him growing into that QB2 role for next season so hope we keep him.

So what jersey number will Michel wear?

His college #1 (SJax) is taken, as is his pro #26 (Burgess).

He could go with 20, vacated by Jalen Ramsey. 40 is also available.
Or maybe he can do something funky, like go with a number in the teens (now allowed for RBs) and take 14 or 19.

This is an important issue!

How about 30 as an homage to his Bulldog brother? It’s open.

Also just learned that Michel went to American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida. I used to live about 15 minutes from there!

I meant I am pro/for whores, not pro as in professional. All whores new and old are professional

If Gerald Everett and Morgan Fox can get us 6th round comp picks, I'd think that Michel could get us a 5th round comp pick if he leaves.

So if that were the case, in exchange for a one-year rental (desperately needed for a SB run), the Rams give up:
--Swapping a 4th rounder for a fifth rounder in 2023
--Giving up a 6th rounder in 2022.

All in all, the trade compensation for him is minimal. The talk of "Rams gave up too much draft capital for Sony" is BS.

Great post
You've to pay the price for quality.
Sure they could have signed a JAG off the street who costed nothing, but he'd likely return the favor in production.
If Sony blows it up with a productive season, he would surely garner a decent contract in FA, and if he cant find a decent enough contract to get the Rams a comp pick, it would mean he'd likely be able to be re-signed with an affordable deal.
It's WIN/WIN

One thing that I like to hear in the above is the recognition by Snead that they wanted some downhill run ability in that group. I am way less concerned with breakaway ability/speed than I am basic oomph. Oomph is what we needed.

I'd also like to hear McVay or Brown speak on the differences Michel is facing with the scheme/nomenclature and how long they project it will take to get him ready to where he's playing fast and not thinking. Midseason? Quarter pole maybe?

Anyway. Still on cloud 9 with this trade man. Hope he's the same kind of piece for us that CJ was. This offense is far more potent when it has a power option, whether or not McVay realizes it. (y)
It took CJ Anderson 5 days lol

Yes. And I presume you're aware he did know the offense. So he was a perfect addition in that moment just wish they would have ridden him.

WCO terminology is rough man. Guys who have never been in it are gonna need a little time. Having Brown as the RB coach helps but he's still gotta be able to focus on his part of the call and know what he's doing.
