Read the article. Florio quoted Snead in an interview done yesterday.
Well, you can't quote numbers that include a Robinson potential contract, then point out that he is not signed yet.

If he isn't under contract, then the -5M cap number is not accurate.

If the Rams do not finish the contract for Lloyd or Robinson, have to believe the Rams will become team 32 in teams the top free agents will want to come to. Stringing a player along for going on 3 months now would be very bad for business.

Agree... That is why I don't expect that to happen.

June 1st they get $5.5M cap relief from Gurley deal and I expect some type of combo of restructures from a few players. Not just Goff abd they might try to avoid restructuring Goff so his feal gets cheaper going forward.

Maybe the Havenstein trade also thrown in there to save $5.4M.

So....this whole mess has me confused...is Leonard Floyd on this team or no?

I get that. I am saying that if Floyd and Robinson contract due go through plus a little over a mil for draft picks we would be at 16mil. Round about.

Ask Snead... I dunno.

Seriously, its why I think they move Havenstein (5.4), get the Gurely June 1st cap relief (5.5M), and restructure some deals.

Also if they move Havenstein and can designate it as a post June 1st trade, then he saves $7M of cap room.

So seems they can get there.

I believe Gurley is an $8Mil cap relief. The extra $2.5Mil if he passes his Falcons physical.

I don't think the cap is as bad as it's being made out to be.

Imo this is more unwarranted speculation from one of my least favorite sports media dudes who is scraping the bottom of the barrel to make a story out of a situation which does not merit more than the observation that Rams have not yet signed two players.

If Florio has a basis or source other than his own conjecture to report that the Rams intend to back out out of those deals he should say so. I would be very surprised if that happened. And, yes, they need to pass physicals and the Rams need to clear salary cap. And, yes, Florio hates the Rams.

Wondering if Goff’s restructuring his contract helped get them both signed.
—Rams will draft a stud RBin the next 2 Hrs.

If you are correct, how do you rate the available Running Backs and which one would you like to see the Rams draft?
