Only way we address LT is if one falls into our laps in the draft. Chances of that seem slim.

And most of them that might like the one I mocked Harrison have issues and questions about them as LT in the NFL.

I like Miami's Zion Nelson as a 4'th round developmental prospect, of course, finding a 4'th round pick may be elusive in itself ...

I’m not sure who you read on stats. According to PFF the 2021 overall rating was 7th but the report said that toward the end of the season it dropped off. Whitworth and Havenstein were the anchors but the guards rated below 70. Allen was a solid 81.

so maybe I exaggerated it being bad, but I barely sawa good run game in all of 2021.

If finesse pass blocking is what McVay is going for then I guess he got what he wanted. Oddly enough his offense is based off of a good running game and a cordi g to Jourdan fixing the run game has been his off-season focus both, last offseason and this one.

Yea run blocking was bad all year but pass blocking was phenomenal, especially in the playoffs

Well on the bright side, Jeff Fisher says that Barrett Jones foot is fully healed now and he's now ready to go!
SEE!!! Now this is a man trying to look on the Bright Side!

Psychotic ... Yes
Delusional ... Certainly
Borderline Insanity ... Well-OVER the borderline

But it's a positive, up-beat Lunacy.

I want some of this! Maybe Rokevious Watkins is ready to contribute!

Jackson is adequate but hardly inspired a ton of confidence. I do however find it ironic a bit that people don't trust Boom because of injuries but the one year Jackson was counted on he had an injury that goes beyond the field and kept him out of the game. I don't know that we can count on either of them really neither one gets a health pass.
You should listen to McVay. There were plenty of people impressed with AJ and his medical condition has been figured out so he has the clearance to restart football activities.

I do listen to McVay quite often as in every time he has a presser and I did actually hear what you're saying I even posted the video where he said it on this site. I, like you and others around here, have heard him say a lot of things that weren't true, accurate or were embelished. And a condition under control right now might not stay that way a week, a month, six months or a year later.

It's amazingly funny I'm called out for not listening to McVay after pointing out to a lot of people in another thread that they should listen to the video I posted of McVay talking :D classic stuff here

As irritating as the quote has become, it's very true - I think as Jourdan puts it, "both things can be true." Shoot me!

Or, lets say the problem had multiple reasons for existing. The talent is lackluster and Carberry wasn't good AND they all got injured!

There's no plus in any column there. I suspect that the Rams think that if they have better coaching and health they can weather the lackluster talent.
Are you and Jourdan playing hide the salami, you lucky bastid??!!

J/K my friend ':-)

I agree with your take on the OL as it stands. I think I categorized them last season as "light in the pants", haha. That won't hold up well against the shit bag, cousin fucking, herpes ridden whiner defense unfortunately.

This OL needs more beef, and more importantly, more dawg in them.......i mean..... in my humble, sub-expert opinion of course.

Coleman Shelton got a two-year deal worth up to $8.75 million, but it could void after one year based on playing time

Listening and having an ear to hear are two different things.

Guess we’ll see what happens soon enough.

This contract to me seems like they're planning on him at Guard if not competing with Allen at Center.
I don't think they're planning to have him compete with Allen.. I think they're having him plan to compete with a rookie Center. I think Allen will be designated post June 1 unless they don't end up with a Center they like in the draft.
