I wanted us to draft him. He's nasty. We need some if that. I love this move.

Was he cut or a free agent? Thinking about those picks ...

He was a FA. I'm not sure how it affects the comp picks, but he signed at less per year than any of the three guys we lost. I'm still thinking we get at least a 3rd and one 4th based on Fowler and Littleton, both of whom signed for significantly more.

This young man can take over games. He is an upgrade from Brockers in my book. This is what The Rams have needed for years.

When was the last time The Rams have had a DT like this guy ??? He is going to open up holes for Aaron Donald.

Just watched some youtube highlights, wow.... just wow.
I won't link them here tho, for some reason these draft highlights guys just have to use the absolute worst music.

Is this the new norm? Overpaying for underachieving defenders while hoping the Oline gets better with the same players we had last year?

Or am I just turning into a crotchety old man?
To be fair, there was no way we were gonna overhaul our offensive line in one off-season.

Jesus Rams are going to be attracting everyone now with these offers...
Don't sell the two year passes at Knotts Berry Farm short! Maybe we can throw in a family pass at Medieval Times to boot?

Rams be deain'!

Well I'll say this. I was tired of our defensive line being small. This guy next to Donald is some real beef. Maybe we will finally be physical up front and teams will stop running right at us.

They certainly won’t be running at A’shawn. More like running away from him.

Interesting pick up. I do think SJD could be solid at DE. The Rams could be more stout up front this coming year.

Gonna be honest and say that I don't love this move. It costs us a comp pick. A'Shawn will replace Brockers and should be an effective run stuffer on the edge. He hasn't shown much as a pass rusher thus far in his career. It's more than I hoped we'd pay. Hopefully, the actual figures are better.

Love this move.

Price might be a bit high, but he plays the run well and he's young.

You don't think they will have Robinson play on the inside?

I will choose to be optimistic and say this will be a nice addition to our D line. In that case, it's better than a comp pick. Wouldn't you rather have a productive player than an opportunity to draft somebody in the third or fourth round that may or may not pan out?

If Staley is like Fangio, he typically uses short and squatty NTs. At 6'1" 315, Greg Gaines is a good fit for what he does. Robinson's a bit too long for it. But he fits well as a run-stuffing 5-Tech.
