man prevails GIF

I have no issues with his arm strength and deep ball it is far superior to Wolf or Perkins, I just see it as a huge upgrade and he comes from a big program with some NFL ties schematically and he is smart. I am not calling him Drew Brees but am confident he is an automatic upgrade

How did the arresting officer respond when you said, "Do you know who I am?"
It was more of “ Officer Cambell i thought you said you didn’t want to come back out here?”

Best case scenario is John Wolford II. Worst case scenario 26 year old rookie with character concerns. Somebody needs to take Les Snead’s keys away before he drives the Rams rebuild into the LA River

Well, I suppose its not like they were looking for their future quarterback after the Stafford era. They wanted a backup for Stafford. Maybe I'm overreacting. I just thought a quarterback like him would be available later in the draft. I was hoping they could find a quality player for the defense or maybe another offensive linemen. Luke Wypler is still available. Most mocks I saw had him going long before now.

He's way too small for an NFL QB. I don't like the pick.
And people saying he's a winner? No, the Georgia football program was a winner. Any QB can come in there and step in and succeed.
Any QB? Then why didn’t any other QB do it?

Hey had a 4 star QB recruit behind him, why didn’t he beat him out if ‘any’ QB could do what he did?

The answer is that is a false statement, however I still don’t like the pick. Lol

What this pick tells me is that the Rams have a targeted QB next year as their next franchise QB. Bennett needs a whole lot of work. The Rams went strictly off his analytics, with him. He projects as a career backup QB so we simply need to look at him in that light. IMO it's imperative that Stafford stays healthy this year. Bennett needs a year to really polish up his mechanics. One thing in his favor is he seems to be able to read defenses. I'm not overly excited about Stetson, but he's probably better than Haener who is a half-field reader. Most of Stetson's inconsistent accuracy issues seem to be mechanics related. Perhaps that is what the Rams saw. Mechanics and arm strength are things that can be improved.

Let's see how he looks this year. With the improved OL look this year Stafford's ability to stay healthy could be very much improved. The bottom line is that Stetson is a career backup type of QB and a definite upgrade to Wolford.

Well it is pretty obvious this is the round or run for tier 2 qb's so us grabbing the second one seems to have played out as a good move if we didn't who knows what would have been left at our next pick

Georgia wins every year no matter who is starting. They are a top college program.
I'm not saying he doesn't have talent, but they will continue winning after he's gone.

I don’t understand the comments about his “noodle arm”. Comments from scouts were he had stronger arm than most projected 1st round QBs.

Can’t be worse than what we’ve had in that QB toom.

Seems a reach unless Snead was sick of the Lions jumping up ahead of him to get who he wanted.

Might as well win one.

Character concerns ? 2 National Championships. 2 time Heisman trophy candidate . Hate that kind of a character guy.

He is a winner & competes. Plus know thinking about it. Where did Matthew Stafford go to school again ?

Interesting that after drafting a couple guys yesterday with atypical paths to success in college, they take a QB who had to repeatedly fight his way to the starting job for Georgia. I'm wondering if last year's mess made the Rams focus more on players that they feel can handle adversity.

Aaron Rodgers was a Super Bowl winner and widely regarded as one of the better quarterbacks in the league. He's a well-known diva. Tom Brady is regarded by many as a top quarterback, and he ditched his wife when she had cancer.

Just because you're a winner - in college, mind you - doesn't mean that you're a character guy.
