This is one of the picks that has been sitting with me.

What does our WR room look like? Who is our #2? Doe we have one or do we just have a bunch of different combinations?

When Kupp went down the production slid to a halt. Much of that was due to a lack of a chain mover. Skow has flexibility and is tough but he isn't gonna give you a high volume of catches in the slot underneath. Nether will McCutch.

This guy might. He has some of that sneaky elusiveness for his size that Kupp brings.

Mcvay system type - Scouting reports talk about his jet sweeps and blocking on the perimeter ability being strong.

Kid should attach himself to Kupp. Same body & similar traits. He isn’t a technician like Kupp and could learn so much.

I would guess that is how the brass sees it as well. I hope Van breaks out this year a bit more. We need one of these other guys to step up.
Yeah, and if he has a big yr and leaves, you get a good 25' comp pick since WRs get overpaid in FA.

I kinda get a similar vibe as Jefferson. Little worried there’s not enough dog there. We’ll see.

Puka seems to have some Kupp in him. Being around Kupp will make him better.

I the WR room surprises. It starts with an improved offensive line that gives Stafford more time and makes the play action work. McVay needs get Atwell involved in the rotation. He blows the top off and gets easy short passes. Skow gets short middle passes while Jefferson can go middle and deep. It would have been great to have an OBJ this year. Look for next year to add a 1B.

I feel like this guy has some Robert Woods in him. Jet sweeps, willing blocker, plays physical. He is going to fit.

Dare I say, a poor-man's Cooper Kupp?

Didn't know much about him at first but after researching definitely looks like the kind of WR McVay loves to have. I think this offense is going to be fun to watch if they stay healthy.

If the offensive line is GOOD this year... the offense will be GOOD.. maybe not great.. but GOOD, for sure.

Health is always the thing.. but you've got a solid veteran tight end and two young vets behind him.. both with some ability to grown. I don't know if Hopkins will take a step.. but as a move TE he's shown glimpses. Long is a guy who would seem to profile well to replace Higbee if/when he's injured. Davis is intriguing. 4TEs? We'll see.

Tutu did okay in the second half of the season. He's shown enough to at least concern defenses.
Bennie fucking Skow showed he should get the ball in his hands more. I hope he's refined his route running some.. but his physicality on the field is greatly beneficial. I want to see him on the field. If Jefferson is the best version of himself.. field stretching.. the unit will be just fine, imo. Puka could be a steal.. again.. he just needs to attach himself to Kupp. The movement skills and size are VERY similar.

Akers was a beast down the stretch and we saw that from him his rookie year as well. Hopefully they get that from him again and a little more of him in the pass game.
Evans is an excellent physical prospect and skilled runner. If he can put it together.. they'll have the 1-2 punch we've been hoping for.

Avila and health on the line brings the floor up for the unit a great deal. A great deal.

Problem is still the speed. We need Tutu to factor in to get the most from this room this year. Just have his ass out there burning nines worst case.

Kyren Williams should also benefit from an improved offensive line and passing game. He's our best pass blocker, a speedy back, nice receiving abilities, and has good vision. If he's healthy, look out.

As for Nacua, I've got high hopes for him. He's a great route runner, solid size, glue for hands. The only concerning thing is his speed; I doubt he ever outruns someone like Cooper Kupp does.

With Kupp, Nacua, Jefferson, Atwell, Skowronek, and McCutcheon on the team (and I hope Jacob Harris is another option, but I think he's gone.), that's a solid group of receivers.
