RAMS SECONDARY?

I just can't get over 3rd and 22 and 3rd and 25 you can't stop either to win the game. I hate the soft zone crap when you want to force the action , not give a QB like that so much time. Watching the 3rd and 22 seems JJ got a little turned around too. You just can't give up that kind of play. Not sure if it's 100% the players or a few bad play calls at the wrong time. I'd rather see Staley be aggressive on 3rd and 22. Play to win, not to lose.

I agree. I don't know what the percentage of blitzes were but every time I paid attention to how many pass rushers, I never saw more than 4. With all the attention on Donald someone has to be unblocked if they send 5. Especially on 3rd and 22 when the QB has to wait for the receiver to get downfield.

Opinions like yours are rarely popular. That said there is more truth to your comment then most would like to admit.

That doesn't mean Ramsey isn't one of the best CB's in the league, because he is. However, when you pay a player record beaking money by a large margin. Ideally you get production that is head and shoulders better then the next player at that position. Donald is a great example of a player who deserves to be paid significantly more then the next guy. Donald's impact is huge every single game. Love Ramsey, but right now he isn't even the best CB in the league, Gilmore is.

This doesn't mean signing Ramsey was a mistake. Some players just give you better value for the contract.

Not anyone with a lillte sanity wants to lose,but, the O they could've scored more than 3.
In the 1st half.
Now throw in we got some guys banged up , a ton of D guys gone, the DT we wanted is doing whatever etc etc and we've done pretty darn good the the last two games.

Imho with all the dead money,roster spots that needed filling etc etc, I'll take 2 and 1.

Hill is playing out of Position, he isn't a slot DB, Long or Williams should be our slot DB. Im not sure why they put him there but it doesn't make sense. Hill can play but strictly outside. He's getting torn up over the middle.

IMO it's the nagging ongoing Achilles injury to Williams or...... Williams would move to the Nickel & Hill back outside.

i've been watching some videos this morning and every time i see that cole beasley 3rd and 22 conversion a little part of me dies inside.

i'm still trying to work out why all those defenders just let him sit there. you think if that was the bucs secondary they would let some shit wr just sit there, catch the ball then turn around and make 5 yards? fuck no. beasely would be on his arse as soon as the ball got there for an incompletion or most certainly an interception.
