No, dammit. He said Mitchell. Josh Allen can only hope to play as well as the SpydaMitchell. I know he's 6'5", but... he's no Donovan Mitchell.

My sister currently lives in Utah, supports the Jazz, and Donovan Mitchell is her favorite player. Just had to mention it.

I know everyone's really high on Allen right now but I saw Wentz 2.0. I wasn't particularly impressed. We should have beat this team (and by a lot). Allen took some god awful sacks trying to go off-schedule. Fumbled. Threw a horrible floater on first down with the lead. Held onto the ball way too long.

There were definitely a lot of broken coverages by the Rams that game that they exploited. Allen also was pretty efficient in the redzone. But overall, the quality of play by the Rams on offense was just so much better. Even in the first half.

I still see Cam Newton. If people recall, Newton had a MVP season awhile back. He's never lived up to that since. I wouldn't be surprised if Allen has a similar career. The question is if he can stay healthier than Newton.

I'd say that the second week of travel to the East gave Buffalo a big advantage. This team was sluggish in the first half.

I don't like what I'm seeing from the defense as a whole. It doesn't remind me of a Fangio defense. The coverage is too soft and Staley doesn't turn up the heat until the second half. DBs cannot cover eternally. Allen had too much time to throw. I don't understand what the plan is at this point, but it doesn't look good.

Yea with our lack of pass rush we just need to be bringing more pressure, not sure how staley hasn't realized that. At least rush 5 in big situations.

But what concerns me more is our zone coverage. Without Fuller on the field, we saw how bad the rest of the secondary played. We had similar issues against Dallas. And Wentz missed like 10 throws so who knows how that game could have gone. I'm not sure what the solution is with our current personnel, but there is no excuse for how bad JJ and Rapp played.

I’m likely an idiot, but I feel like I’m expect more from Ramsey. He’s been great but I just feel like he’s not $20m great and a huge difference maker in the field. Maybe that’s because he’s so good that QBs don’t throw his way. Still, I feel with the hype and amount paid to him, there would be more. Hopefully it’s coming.

Opinions like yours are rarely popular. That said there is more truth to your comment then most would like to admit.

That doesn't mean Ramsey isn't one of the best CB's in the league, because he is. However, when you pay a player record beaking money by a large margin. Ideally you get production that is head and shoulders better then the next player at that position. Donald is a great example of a player who deserves to be paid significantly more then the next guy. Donald's impact is huge every single game. Love Ramsey, but right now he isn't even the best CB in the league, Gilmore is.

This doesn't mean signing Ramsey was a mistake. Some players just give you better value for the contract.

two weeks in a row traveling across country looked like it really affected us in the first half. also samson must be replaced he missed so many tackles when he was not blocked. hendo had huge holes to run threw (great job ol )but could not get past secondary tackles. AD can't be the only pass rusher we have he needs help (anyone miss mathews ). our secondary has showed us that 1 great player can be game planed around. anyway time to get back on wining track.
That's McVays fault he should have kept the team on the east coast.

That's exactly what she said, being a fantastic guy on and off the court. She says that Rudy Gobert, Damien Wilson (Chiefs linebacker) and another player whom I forgot hit on her on Instagram. I think Wilson's a creep because he kept hitting on her even when she rebuffed him.

Unfortunately, I did not get the beauty genes that she has. :D

McVay and the Rams could not stay East.

It was reported last week that under the NFL Covid rules, teams could not stay in place in cases of back-to-back games in close areas.

Niners were an exception because they were playing in the same stadium in consecutive weeks.

dunno man... he avoided the rush a lot with his legs and then would complete a huge chunk play. He had 4 touch downs passing and 1 rushing - and like a 130 qb rating... prob should have been a 150 rating because he really didnt throw an interception.

He may not ending up being better than wentz - but for a 3rd year QB he is trending upwards.

Allen is better than Wentz right now imo.

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but McVay stated more than once in his press conferences that this was his decision NOT a league requirement. I assume McVay actually knows the rules.

I stand corrected. My apologies.

I double checked and the Covid rules would have pretty much had the Rams restricted to a hotel.

Thanks for the correction.

Apologies also to Malibu.

No apologies needed!! I just have lost a little patience with the travel stuff after listening to McVay explain it a couple of times. But appreciate your response and also really appreciate your rules double check.

Facts matter and fact checks are a good thing. They can be very surprising when compared with what we all think we know. And I am tired of every version of assuming that "what we all think we know" is true, and not just about football. Just gimme some truth...

It was explained that the rule was not exactly as described. The rule prevented families from staying with the teammates. Do McVay didn’t do it.

Can anyone explain why we went back to LA though only to travel back across country? Wouldn't it have been better to do something similar to what the whiners did???? Was that an option? I'm a bit confused about that and if we are going to use that as an ingredient in the recipe for our loss I have to ask that question. I am very curious? Was it just a coaches decision cause if that's the case then I would strongly disagree with that.

In a normal year he would have, but with all the COVID restrictions (the team would be quarantined to the hotel for a week with only team activities allowed), he decided against it.

I trust McVay when it comes to this because he's super mindful of all the little things like this. Essentially, it was enough info that he decided to bring the team home.

Actually, that rule changed and McVay decided against it because of the COVID rules when away from home... full hotel quarantine...difficult logistics to practice with COVID rules, etc.

He thought it would be less disruptive flying in the day before.

Honestly, traveling isn't the difficulty it was without fans, but repeated traveling is still an issue, especially traveling east.

The good news is Fuller is day-to-day and his injury isn't serious. McVay said he might play against the Giants

i saw rapp in the game pretty early so it seemed like fuller left the field early. he seems to be a valuable member of the secondary because they looked confused for the rest of the game. the rams even had to take a timeout because of the confusion.

fuller must be a sharp dude.

Yes, I was corrected and acknowledged it earlier in thread above.
