im thinking you dont know what hot seat means.I didn't say in trouble I said in the hot seat. Lol
Cool story bruh.im thinking you dont know what hot seat means.
Yes he would have, even as a rookie he is a far superior tackler than
what we currently have. Unfortunately I think he is gone for the season.
I hope I am wrong about that. Because unless he comes back look for
our run defense to be mediocre at best.
I meant during the game.Under Sean McVay, having that thumper run-stopping SAM has never been a priority.
And, except for last year, that's always been a problem.
During the game is what I'm talking about.I think it's obvious they became aware of the need to counter. Why else would they bring in weddle.
yes it means someone is in danger of getting fired.I'm thinking people think they know that a term only and exclusively means what they take it to mean and aren't open to any subtlety in language.
"Hot Seat" doesn't necessarily mean someone is expected to be fired.. although the way commentators use it, you'd think that it only means that.
It means that he's going to start feeling more, new and different pressures to succeed. It means that, maybe, he'll start being pressed a little more when he says "I didn't put the guys in a position to succeed".. like, maybe a follow up of "Then why do you keep doing the same things?"
From Merriam Webster
hot seat
noun
Definition of hot seat
1slang : ELECTRIC CHAIR
2: a position of uneasiness, embarrassment, or anxiety
Weird stuff for someone who accused another poster of being a stalker..How dare you insinuate that Reeder is lacking in any way , shape or form.
He does not make mistakes.
And there are people here that will argue with you until the end of time, that he is flawless
in every way.![]()
Yup.
But I was listening to 11 personnel and they were talking about how the offense switching to toss made it easy to target Reeder and safeties.
What's the counter there? And why didn't the Rams have one?
I want you to go back and watch Marquise Copeland.
Marquise Copeland has one of the worst vantage points of anyone on the field.
AND is lined up all the way on the opposite side of the field in a Three Point Stance
How does he almost make a tackle on the runner before reeder even knows where the freaking ball is?
@Kupped ... I agree with you. The video angle from behind the QB clearly shows Reeder is completely UN-able to see where the ball went for a split second. If Reeder's job was to follow Huntley then he did EXACTLY that, until he was able to literally see that Huntley did not have the ball. He played his role perfectly, if his role was to shadow Huntley on the keeper.
CheersWait.. you're not blaming it on him... after blaming it on him?
Team game, dude.. your obsession with showing how bad a guy is... even when a play isn't his fault.. is funny.
My defense is pretty simple.. it's an RPO and Reeder is obviously tasked with mirroring Huntley on that.
Your Copeland comparison shows just how far you've drifted from reality. I just froze it... Copeland literally has an unobstructed view, right at Huntley and Freeman as the ball is released. The view from behind the center shows that Reeder is literally blocked by four players.
It's clear as day and anyone objectively looking at this can see that Reeder is blocked.
I am not arguing something big picture about Reeder.. I'm not arguing that he's good.. I'm pointing out what happened on that play.
I don't care if you'll debate, because there's nothing to debate when someone won't look at what's right in front of them.
Good players get frozen by the RPO game at times... that's one of the reasons that teams run the play.. because it works.
yes it means someone is in danger of getting fired.
you know thats what it means - nice try though
There is no "subtle" meanings to the term - not when used with coaching.
maybe if you are reading a Jane Austen Novel.
We'll see.
During the game is what I'm talking about.
And, no, I don't think Weddle is a counter to anything other than injuries. I hope he can help, though.
Lol.. my bad. We'll see, as if this is actually a possibility in the next 2 or 3 years?
Dude, there is ZERO possibility that. He's been in the Plumtree than any other
Just kidding about weddle
Why are you telling me what I "know" when I've just told you what I know? That the term doesn't mean that? And I provide a link to the definition?
Between this and not being able to see what happened on a play we discussed, I'm just wondering if you selectively ignore chunks of posts you respond to. Can't think of another explanation.
if i had the energy id just post about 100 stories about "the hot seat" ever last one will refer coaches being in danger of being fired.
Give me a break with the merriam webster dictionary definition that really isnt referring to the specifics of what we are talking about.
