Solid win. Getting Adams and Dotson back will be huge for the Offense. Lake coming back is huge for the D
Higbee might be a bigger addition. They can't just focus on Parkinson. Allen is iffy as is Ferguson at this point. Higbee has been there, so he and Parkinson will keep defenses guessing. Most importantly, Stafford trusts Higbee. He probably lacks trust in Allen & Ferguson in a big spot.

I'm going with Da Bears, the Eagles and the Rams.

Took 'em long enough to get going, but at least they did get going. And it's nice when you can put 37 on the board in a game in which you were sloppy.

Still have my concerns about this D, but everyone is 0-0 again and we are getting most of our guys back from IR (crossing fingers for Dotson).

Now let's go get fucking revenge on the Panthers.

I think it's noteworthy and to be pointed out:

Rams scored 518 total points this season. That makes them the highest scoring team in the league again, and for the 11th time in their history.

It's also the fifth time a Ram team topped 500 points in a single season. That is an NFL franchise record. No one else has five such seasons.

Tied for 18th highest scoring season all time, and fourth most for a Ram team, behind only 1999, 2000, 2018.

Yeah I think the defense has to step it up. But so does the offense when it comes to reversing momentum, those situations where just making a few first downs can change the complexion of the game. They can't be 3 'n outing when the other team has momentum late unless they're sitting on a massive lead.

Really the Rams need a full 3 phase game where everyone is on point. If they can do that and knock the Panthers out I'll feel a lot better about things. But as it is I'm just gonna try to enjoy the moment and not ruin it by big expectations. That was what pissed me off today was I expected them to swoop in there and slap the Cards around. Just feels sometimes like this year's team shoves their heads in their collective asses. It's really irritating.

I think this has been a large part of the problem. In an effort to protect the secondary, Shula stopped committing to generating pressure because it left the back end exposed, but they STILL got burned. So, WTH, go back to trying to get to the QB before he can get his passes off. The secondary will still get burned from time to time, but the QB will be getting dumped more often.

The talent is in the front 5. More stunts. More blitzes.
This seems obvious. Giving any QB too much time is never a good idea. I wish he would throw away the whole rush 3 concept.

It is quite possible all of the WCs win in round 1. That would put the 9ers traveling to SOFI for round two.
Home vs Niners or going to Seattle. Both very winnable.

The least likley would be going to Philly, which only happens if Packers beat the Bears and Philly beats the Niners. The Packers just might be cooked, but then again, its a revenge game against a divisional opponent. So you never know.

Criminal if true. What is the point of having the better record. I can under stand if us and the Eagles have the same record because they beat us.
What ever happened to you are what your record says you are ?

This is why the first goal is always to win the division.

That’s why we stomped Darnold at home in the playoffs even though they had the better record.

Panthers head coach Dave Canales;
"No one seen our best yet".

And we might have to wait till next season to see that.
That said, as a Panthers fan, you have to give them credit.
No one realistically saw them as a playoff team the last off season.
