The one thing I have to say that wasn't good about this game is do not throw Parkinson contested catches.

He drops them every time. Only throw to him when he is open. He usually catches those.

And Higbee was a Higbeast tonight except for that "sorry coach, it hit me in the head" drop.

McVay was really smart to play the starters and keep them in. The Seattle loss was definitely in their head and they were out of sorts...

Took letting the Cards jump out to the lead in the 3rd to really wake them up.. but once they were? Different team... back to being who they were.
Get back Adams and Lake next week... maybe T-Ferg... I doubt KDot next week, unfortunately. But Adams and T-Ferg back will really make the offense go, imo.. and Lake will have an impact. I wonder what the secondary will look like?

Panthers head coach Dave Canales;
"No one seen our best yet".

And we might have to wait till next season to see that.
That said, as a Panthers fan, you have to give them credit.
No one realistically saw them as a playoff team the last off season.
Well coach, we sure didn’t see your best yesterday in that elimination game against the crappy Succaneers. Good thing Atlanta bailed you out. Maybe shut your cake hole and get ready for next weeks ass woopin’?

I've been saying all year that the Panthers might be improved and you have to admit they whipped our ass. :)
They've been pretty hot and cold which is typical of a up-and-coming team but I think our Rams will handle business next week for sure. ;)

RAMS WIN, RAMS WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MATTHEW STAFFORD WITH FOUR TOUCHDOWNS, PUKA WITH TEN CATCHES AND A BADASS TOUCHDOWN, HIGBEAST WITH ALMOST A HUNDRED AND A TOUCHDOWN, AND EVEN PARKINSON GOT TWO TOUCHDOWNS!

NOW LET'S KICK ASS IN THE PLAYOFFS! DOESN'T MATTER WHO WE PLAY; IF WE PLAY OUR GAME, WE WIN. PERIOD.
And back to this Stafford vs. Maye MVP thing. Let's simplify it. In the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl with the game on the line, which QB do you want holding the ball? If anybody says Maye, they are a homer or a liar, period.

As long as we continue to run the ball when the Panthers show five and six man boxes, we will be fine. In that loss, Corum and Williams could have ran for well over 300 had we stuck to that game plan.

Evero knows about McVay’s love affair with the passing game.

Right! Both KW and Corum been having a lot of success on off tackle runs the past few weeks. Lots of 10-25 yard gainers. I want to see more. Much more.

I was mostly impressed with Forbes getting his act together. He actually played a very solid 2nd half.

I'm still a little baffled when McVay forgets about his tight-ends, then it finally clicks in his brain. The OL wasn't very good yesterday, but finally Stafford started going to his check downs. The offense needs to score 30 plus points to win.

The defense has really fallen off since Lake. I knew it would be an issue, but the gaping hole it has created is mind boggling. If I were an OC playing against the Rams I would never run the ball. It would be pass city.

Plus we will be ready for those long passes on 4th down.
I have a feeling that that loss to Carolina earlier is really sticking in the craw of the Rams players and coaches in a big way.
They will be up big time for this game.

I think we need to be behind in the third quarter by less than 7 points because Stafford turns into a beast when we are behind.

A two TD lead and Stafford and McVay go into a funk.
That may work with non-playoff teams..... Not so much with good NFL teams, especially teams that smell blood and go for dagger. Gotta come out strong and end strong.
