I don’t believe the OP was looking for the best 4 RBs that ever played for the Rams. They were looking for the most impactful RBs in their Rams career. Also, once a Rams RB is chisseled into Mt Rushmore he’s in. If that’s correct, and Rams RB Mt Rushmore was constructed NOW - Bettis would be out and SJ would be chiseled in.

I've been a Ram fan a long time and have seen plenty of stud RBs. Ellison, McCutcheon (who was my favorite back in the day), Bryant, Tyler, Bell, Bettis, and the Rushmore 4. Those 4 were the best Ram RBs IMHO. McCutcheon had four 1,000 yard seasons back when 1,000 yards was a good measure (and barely missed it a 5th time) but those 4 were absolutely dynamic. 3 of them are among the top 20 (18) rushing leaders of all time and Gurley might have been had he remained healthy. We should certainly be proud of the many talented RBs who played for the Rams.

The Rams and Rich Brooks, who is on the Mt Rushmore of idiots, traded Bettis way too early in his career....otherwise Id agree.
Maybe another thread but I would call it the Mount Flushmore for crappy Rams HCs.

A giant toilet carved out of the mountain, opening and closing lid, with 4 giant boulders in there sculpted to look like Brooks, Spags, Linehan and Haslett.

Yeesh, 3 of those guys in 5 years. We were a bad football team back then.

Jackson was a beast. can you imagine him on this team with McVay and co.?
I hate thinking about the lack of success he had as a Ram. It's almost distressing.

I remember going to see the Rams play in Jacksonville when he was playing. There was one play where he had half the Dline hanging off of him, and he just kept going, dragging them with him.

He's a HoF IMHO. He'll never get in because of his winning stats. But man, he did so much with so little.

S-Jax should be in the Hall, but Lynch will get in before him because of biased writers, even though S-Jax was Beastmode before the term was coined.

It's a fucking travesty and crime that Torry isn't in the Hall already. They have to rectify that mistake this year.

The info I'm about to share with you was shocking to me when I first heard... it'll probably shock you too...

None of those dreads you saw on SJ back in the day were grown on his head... they were weaved in. In other words... they were fake. Now they did look awesome, but when I found this out it kinda bugged me a little. Maybe because I do really admire me some real Rasta dreads I guess.

He was an All Time Warrior though and he made Ram Nation proud even during some of our darkest days.
WTf are you serious? I never heard that before which I'm surprised! Shit, I like how they look myself, especially how Gurley and SJ looked running around.

Yeah, he gets even on Rams fans shit list because he couldn't magically make a 53 man roster go to the playoffs by himself.

I always assume the dreads are hair extensions. For myself at least, if a player is clearly of good quality, like SJ was, I'm not too concerned with ridiculous hair. But when they're the type who is on the bubble but spends more time in the salon with his hair extensions than some housewives... I can't help but think "yeah that dude probably isn't gonna cut it."

He knows how to use blue font
Sometimes jokes are so obvious and used so damned often blue font isn't needed. I'll remember in the future that you're an exception.

You’re not as funny as you think and you don’t interpret sarcasm very well.

I dunno; Mardy Gilyard's hair (seashells woven in, for those who remember) was awesome, and he was apparently a very good person (which is why I'm not as hard on him as others might be).

It's their hair. Let the guys do what they want with it.
