I think the AD exemption lasted until Monday. May they just released I Johnson early to give him a better chance to make another team's 53.

Unless the Rams relinquished it, possibly by declaring AD ready to play, the exemption was from Sept 1 - 17. According to the Rams site, AD is still on the exemption so..... https://www.therams.com/news/rams-re-sign-safety-isaiah-johnson
