This kind of statement always cracks me up. Like the brad Holmes storyline.
Gladstone may have 5 areas of responsibility - Snead probably has 50.
ALL companies start at the top. Snead deserves the credit.

Great. I maintain, its completely ridiculous that teams don't get some compensation for their entire organization being gutted every offseason. It is fairly odd that if he was African American, we would get 2 3rd round picks, but since he is not we get zilch.

I'm not trying to down playing Snead as a GM , I'm just talking about who is in charge of the draft , from "start" to draft day

That would be the GM. Sure, a lot of work is delegated but the GM oversees it all.

Entire NFL will just be a McVay tree if sticks around for another decade. It is getting nuts. NFL should start compensating franchises after a certain point. I don't know where that line should be drawn. But this is getting ridiculous!

Didn't say that, but neither is Gladstone.
But Snead knows what he and all the other scouts are doing.
Go take a peek at the Rams front office personnel -hell, the scouting department alone would keep him busy without all the other responsibilities.
And ironically, people (maybe not you), who are on Holmes' tip for how well Detroit is doing, proves the point, as he is the GM.

Again - it ALWAYS starts at the top - Kroenke being the perfect example.
